The company booked my room at this location because we had meetings in their Penthouse Meeting room during the week. Never again. The location looks great from the maps, but once on the property you find there is no way to head west without taking a long detour either through a shopping mall or going downtown Prince George. Highway 16 has a solid median to control traffic. "Resort" is a long stretch of the imagination. Breakfast is available starting at 11am: yes you read that right 11am, so you need to drive to the closest restaurant (nothing within walking distance). They have a take-away coffee shop with very limited selection available for twice the price of any other coffee shop ($11.50 for an English muffin with egg and ham). There is a ****** attached to - but not accessible from the hotel - the only saving grace for this property. This location advertises that they "Welcomes Best Western Members" but the front desk has no concept as to how to incorporate the BW Membership number into their systems, nor is it anywhere on their reservation system. When visiting Prince George there are much, much better choices for places to stay on a business trip.
