This was an absolutely beautiful resort. I would definitely stay here again. Even with some construction being done, it was very clean, staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful, the grounds were immaculate, the food was very tasty at all the restaurants, drinks were very good (not very strong, though), the pools were clean and even included a swim-up bar, and excursions were reasonably priced as were the taxi services. My favorite foods were the flank steak, the delicious pork tacos from the lunch food truck (best in my life), and the crepes! The rooms were clean and presented nicely. We did not watch TV or partake in using housekeeping for our stay of only a few days, so I have no comment on that. I wish there had been more pool and beach chairs, but we made it work and this was a very small inconvenience. Also, evening shows at 9:30 with very talented dancers as well as a kids' club activities. All in all, you really can't go wrong staying here!

酒店全包，包含酒水飲料、三餐外加happy hour. 在國外，飯菜屬於比較符合中國胃口的啦。而且有幾個泳池可以游泳，就是沙灘不是很理想，兩小塊在灣裏，很多海藻飄進來。總體感覺不錯，性價比高。

Catalonia is our favorite family vacation spot. The pools and buffets are clean and inviting. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is always friendly. We especially appreciate the bartender Valerio, he is so attentive, pleasant and hardworking. We look forward to seeing him every year.

It was very difficult to get registrations for any of the restaurants in the evening. Multiple tries at 8:00 when the phone lines opened. Very disappointing!

I like most the people working there. Always helping and in good mood.. I didn't like the access to the beach and the beach itself.

The only good thing about the Catalonia is that the staff was really friendly. I would never recommend anyone to stay at the resort! There is no beach, and when I say no beach, I mean, there is no beach access. You have to walk to the next resort to have access to the beach. This is not clear in any of the advertising or pictures. It is very deceiving! It is challenging to get into the à la cart restaurants, and the buffet is mediocre. It is the same food every day and often cold. The drinks were very weak and often only one bartender working. Staff does not come around to the sun chairs to ask you if you’d like to order any drinks and you cannot order snacks to your sun chairs either. To top it off my husband killed a cockroach in our room on our last day. I would definitely recommend anyone to spend a little bit of extra money and not stay at the Catalonia. Port Aventuras is a beautiful spot, but do not book to stay at this resort, there are other spots where you can stay to still experience the area.

This was our first visit to Mexico, and it was a good one! This property isn't going to win any awards for provisions, but it was very nice and provided much needed respite for us. I would go again, but definitely learned that the Yucatan pool area is much more relaxing than the other pool!

Ivan the concierge kept chasing my husband around asking him for his check out slip.. we weren’t even leaving yet. That was really uncomfortable.

The hotel staff were available at all hours and always smiling and happy. The food was excellent at all the restaurants and the buffet was different every day.
