The rooms are lovely, nice and clean,everything you needed, the staff can't do enough for you,cleaners very good,great location, very near to everything, shop open 24 hours food really good,geourgous views, all bar and reception staff very friendly.

Excellent location. Nice clean rooms, large balcony. Cleaners in daily. Easy walk to Harbour, restaurants, nightlife.

Lovely quiet hotel, swimming pools quiet with no 6am towelling lol, snack bar with good pricing,rooms basic but adequate, big balcony with full sun from 11.30-8pm. Friendly helpful staff, 5min walk to bars/restaurants. Good value for money and now our go to accommodation in Porto Rico gc.

Great Reception and Cleaning Staff, which is why we, our family and friends come here twice a year at least. Lovely hotel, great location (not too far up the hill!). Staff friendly, some good entertainment. Nice atmosphere. We stayed August 2023 for 17 days. We had to have two rooms as we are a family of 6. Rooms were immaculate and cleaned at least 12 or 13 times during our 17 day stay. The cleaning staff work so so hard!! And always have a smile and friendly Hola for guests. Rooms had most of what you need, but no microwave or oven! Just a hob. There was some entertainment that the kids loved, but it wasn't on every night and finished quite early when it was. Food from the bar was lovely, but very pricey! As were the drinks. There is no air con and this was a killer during August! You can hire units and fans but when you need it in two rooms, across two apartments, it was expensive! We bought 4 fans in the end, for €35 each!!! which made it very slightly bearable! We had a great holiday. My only complaint is the lack of air con and entertainment. For this reason, we probably wouldn't return but I would never say never! Thank you to all the staff who looked after us during our stay.

Exceeded our expectations for a self catering, budget holiday! Maid service nearly everyday, towels provided, friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic location. Food and drink available at the bar was great if you didn’t want to leave the pool for the day. The decor and furnishings in the rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfy although an extra pillow would’ve been nice! 😊

Had the pleasure of staying at Cala Nova last week. Second time here. Can’t fault the hotel. We had room 503, clean, tidy and great views of Puerto Rico. We arrived late Sunday night, and the maids were in every day other than Wednesday. The beds pretty comfortable, the kitchen suitable for self catering, and a decent sized bathroom. The balcony is huge, offering great views. On checkout, our luggage was kept in a store room, and they provided towels for the courtesy shower. Easy enough to get a sunbed, though the pool area isn’t the biggest. Situated a 5 minute walk from Commercial centre and about 10-12 minutes from the beach, I’d definitely recommend here. One word of warning, there’s no air conditioning in rooms. We experienced a heatwave, and sleeping at night was a struggle. Fortunately we had doors open, and there’s minimal noise from nearby nightlife. I’d imagine summer be tough. Will return in future.

Great location, 5-10 minute walk to the centre one way, and the beach the other. Location does involve some steps up and down, but plenty of taxis at a reasonable price. Hotel clean and staff friendly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious for the price, only gripe I had with the room, was it didn't have a microwave in the kitchen. Swimming pool was okay, always plenty of sunbeds, but limited space around pool. Overall, a great hotel, and If I returned to Gran Canaria, I would definitely book this hotel (If the price is right 😁)

Very clean room , could do with a little updating here and there and the addition of a microwave would be useful.The staff are very friendly. Didn't use the pool, too many sun bed hoggers out there early on so stayed on our large balcony with amazing views. The only drawback ,and its a personal thing but everyone seemed to smoke , sometimes making sitting on the balcony unpleasant. Brilliant location close to the shops and restaurants.
