We come back to Villa Del Palmar at Puerto Vallarta every now and then. We have been to a few other resorts, but Villa Del Palmar has been our favorite. This particular one at Puerto Vallarta has (a) very friendly staff who go out of the way to make you feel welcome (b) great quality of food, which taste authentic and high quality (c) a very short distance from the airport which makes it convenient to commute to/fro the airport.

The room was clean, the service was excellent, the food was great. And the checkout process was easy and fast! Will definitely stay here again soon!

Room needed another sweep upon arrival, long women’s hair all over the room.

**Review for Villa del Palmar, Puerto Vallarta:** I recently had the pleasure of spending an entire week at Villa del Palmar in Puerto Vallarta, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything about this place screamed relaxation and luxury. Having stayed in Cancun three times before, I thought I knew what to expect from a high-end resort, but Villa del Palmar exceeded every expectation. The service here was absolutely unparalleled—probably the best I’ve ever received at any resort. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Whether it was the concierge team helping me plan activities, the poolside staff bringing refreshing drinks, or the restaurant servers who made every meal feel special, the service here was truly exceptional. The resort itself is a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had an unbeatable view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was pure bliss. The property is so peaceful, and I felt instantly at ease the moment I arrived. I especially loved the pools and beaches—everything was impeccably maintained, and there was never a shortage of lounge chairs, so I never felt crowded. The overall atmosphere was calm and serene, and it made for the perfect backdrop to unwind and recharge. In short, I loved everything about this hotel and resort.

To begin with the room wasn't ready until 4 pm,then we went to eat something and nobody told us that we had lo be sitting by the hostes an the waitress yelled at us in a bad way, saying that the entrance was by the other way, right away the waitress started to fighting in front of us. Our room..the pillows were so bad smelling like dirty clothes, and the room furniture was really dirty so spotty, i complained and got change the pillos but was kind of the same, next day by dinner time my friend asked to the hostes a table close by an area with a better viewing to the shows and she was rude and say no im going to sit you there in the oposite side of the restaurant eventhought it was a big table available we understand we we were a group of 9 people but the place was almost empty she yelled at my friend and my friend yielded back i had to intervine it was embarrassing she ended up sitting us in the table that we wanted but the dinner mod was ruined by then.we make a complained with the hotel they apologized but i think they need alot to do for training personnel, we understand employees must be tired but at the end we are paying for a service. Food taste was good and clean and the spa was really good.i hope they do better.

Villa Del Palmar was a great place to stay! We (2adults 2kids 6&8yo) didn’t have any issues in the room or at any of the restaurants. They have a great variety of dishes served at each one. Since there is only one place serving breakfast, it sometimes did take a while to get a table, but it was only at certain hours. Our favorite was the Hibachi restaurant. Our least favorite was the seafood market as it took 2 hours to dine, so if you’re hungry don’t go there! The entertainment during the day wasn’t over the top as most resorts I’ve been to, push people to join, however they would just go around letting people know about the activity that is about to start. As for the night entrainment, the fire show was well done but the others were not that entertaining. The only real complaints I had was having to sign a check after every single meal and trip to the bar. As well as the fact that they stopped serving at 10:30. I would expect the sports bar to be opened to at least midnight. As for the pool, my kids really enjoyed it, but be warned the shallowest part of the pool is 4’6”. So if your child can’t swim, make sure to take floaties if you plan on taking a break. The beach was clear so they also enjoyed the sand and as all places, tons of vendors and people trying to get you to do an excursion. The weather this time of year was not as clear if it wasn’t their rainy season. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no issues going in and out of the resort as they have shops nearby too!
