this was our 9th time at this resort. It has seen better times. Here's a list of what wasn't working in the room, some of which we initially reported but since it wasn't fixed after several attempts, we didn't bother to report the rest, in order not to waste our time and ruin the mood. We stopped expecting results after the 2nd complaint about the leaking shower gel dispenser that hadn't been fixed.
List:
1. The leaking shower gel dispenser eventually fell off the wall and was "kindly" replaced by a glass of gel. Really - a glass made of glass was filled with gel and placed on the shelf in the shower.
2. The shower head wasn't working. At all! Luckily the hand shower was in order.
3. The hairdryer wasn't working.
4. The thermostat wasn't operational, and we were freezing.
5. The TV set had a distorted picture.
6. The elevator was out of order for a couple days.
7. The waiters were loudly talking to each other across the buffet restaurant.
What was good:
1. Quality of food was good, especially the steaks at the Japanese restaurant. The food at the buffet was also consistently good.
2. The evening entertainment was quite good.
3. The staff was friendly and courteous.
4. The room, the hallways and the grounds were always kept clean.
Suggestion:
The management should ensure that all systems in all the rooms are operational. The outdated equipment should be replaced.
