My only complaints is the bathroom in our room had minor issues but we didn’t let it bother us and the bartenders in the lobby wasn’t as nice as the others however overall we had an amazing time. Loved our swim out room and complimentary fruits, bottles, birthday cake, and banner. Really nice. Our butler Joan ( hope I didn’t spell his name wrong )was nice and helpful and made sure we were good everyday. I like the fact that the DJs played music for everyone to enjoy…. The food was well seasoned. The steakhouse was our favorite spot. We had dinner there twice. The drinks were good too. I will definitely come back. The lady servers around the pool were very sweet. I had two favorite servers but I forgot their names. I was part of the Diamond Club. The service was great. Nice people and amenities.

As expected, pictures are nicer than what we arrived to. I thought the room would be newer based on the picture but the room had some cracks and rust. In terms of the overall experience, it could have been better. if you are NOT a “ Diamond Club” member, the hotel staff treats you as second class. The entertainment schedule is not up to date on your TV screen nor posted by the pool. There were some fun things they did by the pool and they should update the entertainment schedule to reflect that so guests know how to adjust their schedule. They have 4 beautiful pickleball courts but only one cheap set of 4 pickleball paddles. If you’re going to invest in 4 beautiful courts and cheap paddles, why not get 4 seats of paddles so multiple people can play on the 4 courts! Re: speciality dinner, if you want to eat later than 6pm, you have to go to the restaurant to put your name on the wait list at 6pm. I wish they told me this at check in so I could have been prepared to do this. I had my own “personal concierge” because I booked via ******* but they did not reach out to me until my 3rd day there. Did not find it helpful.

From the moment we walked on the property all the way to the airport, we were cared for. Respected. And treated like royalty. Something we didn’t feel we received at Barcélo Bávaro Palace. I will always stay at Royalton Chic when I visit and recommend to all my friends and family. Without Wilmy, I would not have had this unforgettable time and experience.

Was presented with the best service and hospitality than ever experienced. Great resort and all of the staff members went above and beyond to cater to guests.

The only great thing about this hotel is the beach access. The rooms are average. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so there's no privacy. There are are only glass doors for the toilet and the shower. The toiletries are not good. You should bring your own products. They also don't always have everything in stock. The staff is hit or miss. Some folks are great; others couldn't be bothered. The food is TERRIBLE. Had food poisoning at least once. Even though there are several dining options, most of them serve the same food. The entertainment tries to do different theme nights, which is nice, but they use the same DJ for everything, so all the music is the same every night. One night they did a cultural show which was awesome! The cleanliness is just not there. House keeping wiped our sink down with a dirty towel from the floor. I saw them cleaning the toilets in the public restrooms and then wash that same toilet towel out in the sink. The cleaning person wasn't even wearing gloves. Our room at check in had a broken sink that they couldn't fix, and we wasted half a day trying to get help and eventually switching rooms. The hotel didn't offer us anything for our wasted time and having to switch rooms (after having to wait in the morning for multiple people coming in and out of our room to try to fix the problem with no answers). I would not stay here again.

The place is always impeccable, you have different areas to be and rest quietly, the pool is always clean and the staff is always ready to help.

My partner and I had an amazing time in this property. The only thing I did not like much is cleanliness of the room. I had to call house keeping 6 in the morning because there was a big cockroach inside my room. I also asked cleaning service to be done on our second to the last day and it was not done.
