Tortuga bay resort is really beautiful and has all the vacation amenities money can buy. It's close to the airport, situated on a golf course alongside the beach that has our villas overlooking the beach. The hotel staff gives an excellent welcoming and service. While house keeping services' our villas to perfection. We will recommend anyone to try and vacation at TORTUGA in Punta Cana. It was worth the travel time.

They do a LOT of spraying here with awful chemicals that are banned in all other developed countries. They spray pesticides inside the bushes and the roads and even on the people. They'll spray right on top of you if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. We tried to enjoy the cool evenings to bike along the complex but found ourselves covered in insecticide by this huge van the puts out a huge white cloud of pesticides. My wife and children and I had headaches and sinusitis for the entire stay. The mosquito spray stuck to our clothes and inside our nose. It seemed like a mix of kerosene and the atrocious spray of RAID insecticide sprayed onto the tourists. We spoke to the staff, who said that they had been doing this for years in order to kill mosquitos. But there are still mosquitos. What I did not see, were bees or butterflies. It's a pity that they have to damage our health and nobody cares. It's quite ignorant to think that a pesticide that kills insects won't kill other living things. All synthetic pesticides harm human health. Why don't they find another way without making us sick or poisoning everything. Overall this ruined our entire experience, as we felt poisoned.

You expect the best but you find even more. Nice place to visit with family with very kind staff. The beach club is great and the golf courses are amazing. You can enjoy the entire day barefoot. The beach restaurant Mare....we never won't forget

As an extremely well-traveled vacationer at only hi-end hotels, I seldom leave reviews. Yet, Tortuga Bay was SO exceptional in service I felt compelled to do so. Each and every employee on the property would go out of their way to assist us, regardless if it was their role. In addition, the facilities were flawless, which often in the Caribbean is hard to achieve in the harsh salt water environment. The attention to detail was palpable, differentiating Tortuga Bay from other hi-end hotels. I love boutique hotel properties vs. hi-end chains for this extra level of personal touches. Tortuga Bay is just a gem.

Without a doubt it has been one of the best weeks of our lives. At the Tortuga Bay hotel you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. Even when the hotel is full we have always had the feeling of being in paradise. We will never forget the attention they have had with my family this week and of course we will return. Thanks to Blanca, the director, for taking care of us and the rest of the guests every day, thank you. Joseph for being so close and captaining a team of wonderful professionals. Thanks to Antonio for welcoming us every morning at breakfast and lunch with a smile and of course thanks to each of his staff members in the restaurant, each one, without leaving any of them alone. Special thanks to Jhoan for being so kind and close to our family, a great professional and even a better person. Thanks also to all the beach staff! Manuel always receiving us with a smile and taking care of us down to the smallest detail. Tortuga Bay Hotel is undoubtedly the best luxury hotel to enjoy the best beach, the best gastronomy and the best personal attention in the entire Dominican Republic. See you very soon. The previous reviews are right on! The accommodations are exquisite, the property is beautiful. The VIP treatment from arrival at the airport to departure was a pleasure. The most important however were the staff. All of them. They were unfailingly pleasant. They knew our names and preferences from the first day. They never said "no" to any request. Chef Christian at Bamboo spent time with us to find out our preferences and suggest offerings. The wait staff could have served at the finest hotels in the US and Europe. They smiled at us and at each other. It was an extremely pleasant experience!

We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. There were other people there, of course, but there was never a time or place on property that felt crowded. The food was all extremely well prepared and presented. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, as well. I would only hesitate to leave a raving review because I don't want it to be harder for us to book our next trip there!

The best service we have ever experienced at a resort in the Caribbean. Every staff member was incredibly thoughtful and kind. Rooms are impeccable and you can’t beat the view or Hector’s pina colada. The golf courses are fantastic and all of the restaurants are outstanding. Fantastic all around!

Excellent concierge service from stepping off the plane to stepping on the plane to go home! Every employee of Tortuga Bay Resort was kind and attentive to us. They really make you feel special! Of all the restaurants available, we enjoyed the food at the Bamboo Restaurant located at the resort. We would like to give special thanks to Fari and Carlos for their great customer service. Also special thanks to Rosalia. Accommodations were nice, could use some updating. The view from the beach front room was spectacular. The see**** situation wasn't bad at all. Loved driving around in the golf cart. My husband and I were looking for a "relaxing" vacation in a beautiful setting. That's exactly what we got! It was a wonderful surprise after dinner returning to our room to find birthday balloons, champagne and a beautiful cake. Thank you all!
