For a family of four with two children under 6 years old this was perfect. The beach was 5-10min walk, no need for the shuttle. The activities and the pool, shows and dining was top notch. Would definitely visit again! Castle view is a must as the kids just love it.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Check in took 1.5 hours. We requested to stay on the second or third floor, no one seemed to care helping us and placed us on the first floor. The bed stank as if it was not changed for ages. I requested to change sheets and it took 1.5 hours for someone to get to our room. Front desk didn’t pick up the phones so I had to go all the way to reception to get the attention and we still had to wait for 1.5. When I got to the front desk I met another unhappy customer who could not get anyone to help him and front desk hang up the phone on him multiple times. After my trip, we still waited for a long time, even though I kept calling. Next day cleaning services forgot to clean our room. Since we had been away on that day I only saw it at 9pm when we came back from our trip. Food was terrible. Great variety for adults but not good quality, nothing healthy for kids, only fried food. When I requested to provide my baby with a healthy choice, manager listened to my request, said he will help us and disappeared forever. I’m glad I brought something to eat for the baby from home, otherwise he would have been hungry. The whole family got stomach virus there. At the end of our trip, I found a roach in the room, which I think is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. This is not my first time in DR but I have never experienced anything like this ever before. This hotel can’t not be rated as 5 star hotel. I do not recommend

We had a great time with the family, they loved the pools and the activities ... The kids club needs some more activities as it was not very interesting for the kids. The pool was great, the food very good and the staff were so courteous..helpful and never said no to anything we asked for... Definitely coming back

The resort had pros and cons. Very family friendly, lots of food options at the buffet- the Al la carte meals I would not choose- we went to the first night and then chose buffet rest of nights. Concierge for rooms were not responsive- we wouldn’t get the things we called and asked for- sometimes having to call 2-3x first.. beds were extremely uncomfortable and small. Our mini fridge didn’t work the first 2 days and took numerous calls to have them replace it with another mediocre working one and our AC leaked water onto the tile floor in the room making floor very slippery. Recommend bringing a bottle or cup to refill waters/drinks because the cups they give are miniature. There are staff selling excursions and other things that can be very pushy- and the vendors on the beaches are also VERY pushy- be cautious of them as they will push until you give in and buy and they upcharge costs at last minute. Fausto at the customer service desk was super helpful! All wait staff in buffet were amazing- they knew us by the end of the week and gave hugs when we left! All rooms and areas in resort were super clean- and not once did we ever feel unsafe within the resort or feel like we couldn’t leave our belongings unattended in the room or by the pool. Overall it was a great time- the kids loved the water park (especially the purple slide- super fast) and the shows every night were great!

The property was kept immaculately clean. Great job on that. For a newer property however the fit and finish of a lot of the buildings/tile work and such is quite poor and the test of time will not be kind to this place. The staff were always friendly but very disinterested, service was just average at best, usually poor. Not enough late evening meal options, only room service which is kind of sad for a “5 star” resort. Finally the biggest issue is the POUNDING music at the center castle until 11pm every night with all guest rooms surrounding it. This is a resort that targets young families, little kids need to sleep, so turn that crap down and isolate it to the corners of the property like the theatre for those who want to stay up late with music. To subject the whole resort of young kids to it is not right. Would I go again? Sure, but for 1/3 what I paid. Absolutely not worth what they are charging.

This place is so wonderful lots of things for kids to do of different ages. I will definitely be back

Great pool and beach. Decent food. Rude staff. Awful bedding and towels. Wouldn’t recommend.
