Steigenberger Resort Alaya Marsa Alam - Red Sea

Very nice and clean complex, super friendly staff in all areas, very good and varied meals, which can be taken in several restaurants. The space available at the pools and on the beach is very generous, there are plenty of sun loungers and sun protection available, and the drinks service is also perfect here. Highly recommended as an adults only hotel.

WE LOVED THIS PLACE A LOT , everything was perfect thank you for this amazing experience. We’ll come back next year. The food, the atmosphere, the service and the beach were fantastic!!! We loved also the activities and the live music!!!!!!!!!

This was another simply perfect vacation again to this hotel , from the initial staff greeting on reception who welcomed on arrival and assisted with the hotel WiFi to arranging the luggage to the room , I tried all the restaurants and couldn’t fault the food or staff in each and every on e, each with a different setting , the buffet gala dinner was simply amazing every member of staff from each restaurant went over and above to ensure the experience was forfilled to nothing but excellent. the room and hotel were maintained to spotless . Even the entertainment staff encouraged and made every activity I did fun and enjoyable from volleyball to water aerobics. Didn’t want to leave at the end , this is a fantastic achievement from the gardeners to management that have this hotel nothing but perfection , Can’t wait to return to enjoy this hotel again .

Alaya resort is a great hotel to stay. Nice clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good food at the restaurants, enough place to relax ... Snorkling is possible on the reef at the hotel. We liked the hotel for quietness (we had a swim-up on our room) and quality food. There is a kind of promenade that connects all the hotels of Coraya Bay. Good for a walk or jogging.

Outstanding hotel with an amazing animation team. We would definitely recommend this hotel and a planning to visit this hotel again. The service and the food was also really good. I must say that the service is a lot better than the service what we usually have in Austria.

We chose this hotel after reading many reviews. What was important to us was a quiet hotel of the highest quality. And that's what we got! The positive experience started with the communication with the hotel - we booked the flight and hotel separately and communicated with Taha Mustafa from reception beforehand. Everything worked out wonderfully - hotel transfer from the airport, room request (deluxe swim-up with as much sun as possible) and late check out. That's why our arrival, stay and departure were very pleasant. The guest structure is also ideal - 80% German-speaking, then Italians, a few Czechs, Poles. And no children 😉👍 Apart from animations at the pool (water gym every day from 11:30) and afternoon live singers (after 4 p.m.), there is no music at the pool/beach, which is absolutely fantastic! You can really relax in this hotel. In the evenings there were singers and dance performances. The internet connection isn't suitable for working, which we knew about, so we just relaxed. The quality of the food is excellent, as is the cleanliness of the entire hotel. House wine is undrinkable, but there are other drinks to choose from. Coffee is ok. Massages in the spa were only available until 5 p.m., which we think is a shame. The swim-up pool is great, but too warm for us😅 All employees are very friendly, with good knowledge of English and German. Our room in block 3 was very quiet and sunny. Snorkeling from the peer great, even a turtle came by🐢😍 We will ne back sure!

The hotel is very good the location is really nice and animation team is really great and staff are very friendly and service very good rooms is great and food is very tasty I loved this hotel the people they are amazing they have a great staff the help you for everything

We had a great time at Steigenberger Alaya. A pleasant welcome at the reception, preferences had been granted. And no wristband, what a relieve. The room (4007) was very spacious and well equipped. Mini bar was also included, except some luxury items. The main restaurant had a lavish and delicious looking selection of dishes. Food well prepared and with small quantities, which was regularly replenished. Fresh created cappuccino with latte art, WOW! And our compliments to all kindly staff (housekeeping, restaurant, bars, life guards, maintenance, gardners, animation team etc). All Ahmed, Mamhoud, Mustafa, Mohammed and others are working very hard to please the guests. We don’t agree with the poor wifi, it was there also at the room, not that fast, bur enough to have your daily social shot. Only thing that most days you’ve to login to get access. But that’s a minor issue. We looking forward to come back in October this year!

My recent stay at this purported five-star hotel was thoroughly disappointing. The strict adherence to rules, including early closures of amenities such as the gym and spa, coupled with the arrogant and rude staff, made for an unpleasant experience. The internet was practically non-functional, and the beach was unattractive with concrete slabs in the water. Moreover, the lack of standard alcohol options and absence of sugar-free beverages like Coke Zero added to the frustration. The constant policing of guests' behavior and attire, insisting on long pants even in sweltering heat, further detracted from any semblance of relaxation. This establishment prioritizes rigid rules over guest comfort, resembling more a boot camp than a luxury retreat. I would caution anyone seeking a relaxing getaway to steer clear of this hotel.
