ボンゴ(Bongo - Adults Only)

Surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of wildlife. Nice pool to relax beside after a hot day. There were issues with showers in both rooms but problems were attended to immediately.

Very plesant staff. Older facility that is getting some loving care. Pool and resteraunt area very nice. Rooms are basic and being worked on as well. Good location for both Manuel Antonio and Quepos Marina area. Good value for those who do not need 5 star pampering

Bongo is a really cool place to stay if you like to see wildlife! I saw squirrel monkeys, many many white faced monkeys, iguanas and parrots during our stay! We also liked the double bungalows beside eachother. The staff are so nice and we felt safe! Downsides- the breakfast is terrible- cold coffee, watery eggs and hot dogs every morning. I couldn't eat it. No water machines and you have to walk 10-15 minutes downhill/uphill to the nearest convenience store.

Have been home 2 weeks after staying at Bongo for 20 days and miss it!! A no frills hotel (meaning no TV in room🤗). All the tv you need is right outside your room in the jungle (parrots, monkeys, lizards, toucans) . The staff amazing, helpful and friendly. The food is good and the hotel is central to getting either to the marina or Manuel Antonio. As people who love to travel the stories of staff and management are inspiring. Bongo is a nice, simple property with a pool. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly but not helpful when incidents came up, and they were limited with info on things to do. Our room was clean but there was a strange smell around our bungalow. Their breakfasts are varied and nice. Their dinner menu is limited. Overall the property gets a 3/5.

Very quiet,lovely staff, efficient clean accomodation and beautiful pool. Extremely relaxing, eco friendly surrounded by Costa Rican flora and fauna. Away from the hustle and bustle of Manuel Antonio but close enough to hire a taxi or Iguana Tour Co. They looked after our your when we arrived.

Great property, they have done a lot with renovations. Still needs some work, but would definitely stay again!

This hotel is staffed by a very helpful and energetic crew of young people. The pool is nice and the breakfasts are varied and filling. However there were some problems. Our room filled up with ants every evening and the railing going down to our room was filled with ants every night so when I grabbed it, as it was dark, I was covered with them. There are only two hair dryers for the entire hotel, there is no TV in the rooms, and they are only serviced on request. The lights in our room were incorrectly mounted so there were no reading lights next to the bed. The shower is difficult to navigate, and the bathroom sinks are tiny with no hot water. There were piles of trash on the road leading to the hotel, which was not ver appealing.

Great stay, sadly it was too short. The breakfast was amazing, the views and pool were great. Can’t wait to go back!
