The lobby was really beautiful of course. The room at first look was decent. When I woke up after the first night, I noticed a few ants. We went out to lunch and came back with dessert in a to go box and sat it on the counter near the TV. We took a nap and woke up, the box was FULL of ants. They wed all of the desk, and a few were on the bed. The shower handle was turned so hard that I couldn’t turn it on. My husband had to turn it on. I called down to the front desk to get our room changed. The clerk wasn’t apologetic. She simply asked if someone could come down for a new room key. The room that we got switched to was smaller, the phone was missing buttons, the clock didn’t work, the tv was smaller, had to find just the right position for turning the channel. The bathroom had that deep dirty smell. I couldn’t wait to leave the next day. Guess I should be happy no ants were apparent and the shower turned on in this room. 🙄 we will probably never stay at another Hilton property. I expected so much more from them. I also learned that despite thinking that name = quality, I should still ALWAYS read the reviews. I hope this helps someone.
