サントゥアリ・デ・クラ(Santuari de Cura)

We walked up from Randa,and back down in the morning. The place has an amazing restaurant and we had a double aspect room. A great stay.

It is a very special place. I love it . I will never forget the night my husband and I there.

Took three friends to stay here, and they were certainly wary when I said we were staying in a Sanctuary! However, they were amazed, and are all planning to return with their wives! Not luxury, but excellent value for money. The location and the views are outstanding - not to be missed. Breakfast was good. Be aware that the restaurant is closed on Monday evenings, which was when we were there, so I can't comment on the evening meals.

Great hotell with a view. Wonderful staff, Great food and wine. A room with terass, big room. The only thing is that the resturant is closed on mondays and no information of this is available. Not handikapp frendly.

We got there from Palma in a fairly short journey. And the trip was instantly rewarded. The are incredible. The restaurant has a nice food and wine selection and our dishes were really good. As for the rooms, our was a bit small but comfortable, the only downside was the fact that the weather was hotter than ever and there is no AC. But to be honest the place is so magical that we did not care. Strongly recommend

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting. Calm, relaxing and full of history. Just a shame that the room had no air conditioning.

In order to visit the “Santuari de Cura”, you have to drive up the mountain by a curvy road, and finally you arrive t the parking in front of the Santuari. The Santuari is not only a hotel, it has also the following things: It has an Inn, a Convent, a restaurant, a Museum and a Chapel. The inn has 33 rooms with all the comforts to enjoy a pleasant stay, surrounded by nature, history and magic, at 543 meters above sea level. The Convent is a construction from the mid-20th century, with a carved stone portal, where a small statue of Ramon Llull can be seen on top. In the museum, you can learn about the entire history of the creation of the Grammar School and some more. The chapel is a place of worship in the Santuari de Cura, presided over by the Virgen de Cura. A sacred space with various inscriptions that suggest that its construction was carried out at different times, it can be seen that it has a great influence from the old Franciscan tradition due to the location of a nativity scene at the entrance to the chapel.

A very nice and clean Hotel with friendly and helpfull staff, an excellent Restaurant and wonderful views of the entire Island.
