ザ ウェンズリーデール ホテル(The Wensleydale Hotel)

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel with the surprise sight of race horses walking past on the way to their morning gallop. The room was comfy, sunny and good value. The evening meal was tasty and interesting. We had such a warm welcome we felt very at home.

What a wonderful reataurant/bar.. the welcome off the manager was second to none...very friendly ....and we had the most amazing Sunday lunch ....two courses £25....exceptional food ...excellent value for the portion and quality. Would definitely recommend to pop in for a lovely glass of wine... and food. Sue

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We stayed in a Signature Room and it was lovely, clean and comfortable with a yummy breakfast the next day. Will recommend.

I have stayed here regularly over the past 2 years and always find the Staff very helpful and accommodating. Lovely location and the food is excellent

Our stay was very enjoyable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice but did not eat there otherwise, menu not to our taste and very expensive.

The hotel and area were very nice but for what we were charged i expected more Also the restaurant was mediocre. We stayed in the Middletons hotel in york for less than we paid here .

Business trip, arrived late so restaurant was shut however the owner made a sandwich which was very much appreciated. Stayed two nights for business so early starts, missed breakfast both days as way too early. Managed to eat in the restaurant on day two. great menu, great food and wine. In summary great place for a break however if you are on business check on times for breakfast and restaurant closures to avoid disappointment.

Very friendly hotel, nothing was a trouble for the staff, food was excellent, room was looking over the castle &square, definitely recommend it 😁

The property was in the centre of Middleham which was a good location. The room was comfortable. There wasn't a car park but you could park on the square for free.
