ホテル ヴァイデンホフ(Hotel Weidenhof)

Great location; an easy walk from the train station and near the heart of the altstadt (historic center). The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast beverages included prosecco and a nice selection of breads & cheeses. The hotel is run by a young couple; both of them very cordial. They offer rental ebikes for a reasonable fee. It's a great way to see Regensburg, and nearby attractions along the Danube.

The central location in the mall was fabulous. We even managed to walk it, lugging our cases from the train station. The room was exceptional, with a slanting ceiling and plenty of space. The bathroom was very nice too - not too small. A nice touch, being December, was the urn of mulled wine in the foyer every afternoon, which I enjoyed. The chocolate pretzels and other biscuits accompanying the wine, were also well received. Staff were always very friendly as we passed through the reception, although we were never in need for anything during our stay.

The hotel is right in the old town and 5 mins walking from the train and bus stations. It is clean and the room is spacious. It is easy to walk to the attractions and steps away from shops and restaurants.

Was a great hotel, modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Brilliant location close to train station and attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Superb! Combines the modernity of most chains (it isnt in one) with a degree of German charm. Reception staff OUTSTANDING. 7 mins level walk from the station. Very good breakfast WITH PROSECCO OPTION! My only gripe would be the need for bottom sheet to be well tucked in even when against a wall (and the universal problem of slippery shower floor).

The hotel is well located about 400 metres from the railway central station. Walkable to all major sights in Regensburg.. The room was pretty basic, the bed was too soft. No air condition in the room, however the windows could be open. No toilet in the room. The toilet was separate, located on the other end of the corridor. Not so clean, I'd expect more frequent cleaning. The staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast buffer was sufficient, no warm meals. Strangely, coffee / tea has to be ordered and serviced (self-service is not allowed). Generally speaking, a good hotel for a weekend stay or 1 - 2 days, but no longer stays.

This hotel is an easy 3-5 min walk from the train station and aLeo walkable to the city center and all the major sights. Each employee we encountered over the two days we were there was quite friendly and helpful. We were on a higher floor, but there is an elevator. The room had darkening curtains and appeared to be freshly painted. I was also able to get an additional pillow at the reception desk. It was very hot while we were there, so we did need to sleep with the windows open but were not bothered by noise. The breakfast was good and less expensive than any of the other hotels we stayed at in Germany. We enjoy supporting smaller businesses and highly recommend this hotel.
