Staff all very helpful, accommodation clean and tidy although a bit tired. Would definitely use again

I never like to give less than 5 stars unless absolutely necessary. I own a several businesses and when people write all nice things but leave a 4 or 3 star rating it makes me wonder WTH are they thinking?! Anyway, the only complaint was that when we arrived and checked in (7pm Ish) we were starving so we went to the hotel restaurant. We were turned away because they had reservations from a bus load of people coming in soon. What??? So I’m staying at your hotel as a paying customer but I can’t eat at your restaurant because you’ve booked a large group that’s not here yet? If it was my hotel, I’d save some tables for walk in hotel guests. We walked to the hotel across the street and ate at their restaurant. Oh well, rant over. The rooms were small but that’s expected in France. Centrally located and a ten minute walk to the famed Cathedral. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy. Plenty of pillows and the A/C worked great. We were very pleased with the staff and our stay was enjoyable. We would recommend strongly that you stay at this hotel. You will be glad it did.

Very friendly staff, nice cold beer and a burger. Only downside WiFi was pretty awful in the room !!

The hotel was easy to find thanks to sat nav but was in the middle of nowhere. My fault for not doing my homework. I accept my shortcoming on that account. Pulled into the car park…possibly six cars there. , so weren’t exactly busy. Went to reception to find the check in guy was a graduate from the Basil Faulty charm school! Very off hand and didn’t get off to a good start. He rolled his eyes when I asked for a ground floor room as I have mobility problems and a lot of luggage. We’d had a long 8 hour drive from Toulon and asked for a couple of beers….€15.60…ok, it’s France. The room was clean but had a feel of “The Bates Hotel” ! They provided two bottles of water and as the temp was 27c I went to the desk and asked for some ice. Which was supplied begrudgingly. I don’t speak French and thought I’d ask him what was on the menu tonight. I had the menu in front of me and as I pointed to things all he said was “I dunno”. I asked what the specials were and again “I dunno”! He was perfectly fluent in English when we checked in but refused to co operate any further. He made it quite clear he didn’t want to heLp me any further and I was the only person in the reception so he wasn’t rushed off his feet! Never again will I stay in a Campanile Hotel due to this persons attitude to some simple asks! Be warned!

so i stayed here whilst on a humaitarian mission from spain to the ukraine, the rooms are small, cluttered and not very practical at all. The staff are rude, upon asking the staff in reception at what tine we could have breakfast, he told us 6.30am i asked if it was possible to be earlier as we had a very early start heading to Poland, he said yes 06.15 we waited outside and i politely entered at 06.17, i asked of we could sit and he said "if i said 06.30 u cant come in til then" with a very rude tone and very nasty face. my good friend if u dont want to work go home, i have worked in hotel business previously for nearly 10 years and 2 star michelin restaurants in 4 or 5 star hotels, if he had said take a seat whilst we continue to fill the buffet etc he would have won the hotel a much better review, it doesnt surprise me that hotels of this calibre and staff of this nature never succeed to the full potential.

Convenient with parking. Room was functional and clean but on the small side. Fine if your a couple or single but we have a 9 yr old

First link to map shows it on a roundabout it's not there, you can't even see it from there. It's another roundabout away. This is difficult when you are navigating by yourself. Arrived 9.30pm , reception just closing, didn't seem happy to see me, booking shows open till 10.30pm. There is an outside book in machine, but was expecting to be in plenty of time.

Comfortable and easy access

This Campanile is showing its age but is still fine for an overnight stop. Close to the péage. Food nothing special and quite expensive. No steak knife with you meal and I struggled to cut and chew my steak.
