Absolutely stunning An absolutely stunning area to stay in, lovely and peaceful and the property was very well kept! Nice and clean and the patio area was just to die for, just watch out for the midges! We only spent two nights in the cottage but will hopefully be returning for a longer stay next time. The hosts were friendly and had lots of helpful information in the welcome book. We went to the Gigrin Farm red kite feeding centre and also went across to the Elan Valley dams. Both were easily accessible from the cottage, with the red kite centre being about a 20 min walk and the Elan Valley visitor centre about a 7 minute drive so it’s a very convenient place to stay if you’re planning on visiting either of these attractions!

Christmas/birthday stay in Rhayader A joint treat for my birthday and Christmas present for my husband. Rock cottage was everything we needed, ideal location with plenty of local amenities and places to eat. The cottage is immaculately clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The balcony overlooking the river was lovely, unfortunately a little too chilly to sit out. Would definitely stay in Rock Cottage again.
