ゲナディ グランド リゾート(Gennadi Grand Resort)

FABULOUS - nothing whatsoever not to love: staff, food, amenities, pools, small pebbly beach take plastic sandals. We're returning soon, never been to the same resort twice but this was truly exceptional in every respect.

The area The hotel itself is quite isolated, with a 10 minute walk to Gennadi along a main busy road. Not one you would want to do in the dark. We used taxis alot and they are not cheap. Gennadi was a pleasant suprise. It is a small village with local charms and several nice restaurants if you are b&b. Also very reasonable. The hotel is served by a wonderful bus service on the doorstep. Its around 40 minutes to lindos for 5 euro and worth the trip. The nicest local beach is pefki again worth the bus trip of 25 mins from the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel First impressions- What a beautiful hotel, grand and stunning! Spotlessly clean with lovely staff. There are several restaurants to choose from. The buffet restaurant is grand but sadly the food is lukewarm as others have mentioned with no change in menu and similar food every day. We preferred to eat out. The pools are spotless and lovely. The private pools are a lovely luxury but very overlooked and sadly on top of your neighbours so be prepared to get to know them well. The maid service was impeccable. Lovely smiles daily. The beach was underwhelming and is very rocky and not picturesque. Although loungers are very comfortable. I did use the spa and the massage treatment was fabulous. Although I have never visited a spa in a 5 star hotel run by a separate company that you cannot charge to the room. Improvements It would be great to have an omelette station and hot food with variety. It would be great for a shuttle to gennadi or lindos to be on offer even for a small surcharge. Sadly as it was the last week the beach was dismantled and not all services were on offer. This was not reflected in the price we paid. The hotel felt a little soulless and we wouldn't return at this time of year. Overall we are likely to return as we did really enjoy the stay!

We have just returned from this hotel it is one of the best hotels we have ever been to we usually go to adults only 5 star ⭐️ hotels n we’re a little apprehensive of this not being adult only x but even though we were there in school holidays there were not many children there x All the staff are absolutely wonderful a special shout out to pool waiter Albion who kept our drinks flowing all day n beverage director Pannos x The sunbeds are the best we have ever laid on n loads of them x We upgraded to a pool view swim up room whilst we were in the resort x well worth it x The food is excellent even in the buffet x special touch at breakfast x there was either a pianist playing the piano x or a violinist or harpist playing beautiful music There is entertainment on every night x n even at lunch time for 2 hours around the pool x amazing We will definitely be returning

Absolutely superb hotel with a friendly atmosphere which is mainly thanks to the lovely staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble and there was enough people employed to make sure you were always looked after. Food was fab, and the drinks were brand names. We were sad to leave, huge thanks to all the staff who made our holiday just perfect. We will definitely be returning one day.

This is a modern hotel in South Rhodes adjacent to a pebble beach, with spa, a range of food services and a number of swimming pools. If you select a private pool you walk out of your rear doors to a small terrace with sun beds and a reasonable sized pool. Private however suggests privacy. It does not provide that. More exclusivity in that it is only for your use. The guests who have elected a room without their own pool and take a first floor room will have an uninterrupted view of you enjoying yours. In some cases the pools face onto the main swimming pools and in other cases the central pathway. Food is served either as a buffet service or in partitioned off areas around the hotel ranging from meat, to local specialities through to Mediterranean inspired menus. Difficult menus for vegans with limited options. Nonetheless it was good and well organised. The central bar offers a terrace and an enjoyable range of cocktails and drinks. The ultra all inclusive is good value for the drinks alone.

I visited Genadi resort with my husband in July and the same place with my daughter in August, because we had fantastic impressions from our stay at this resort first time. We were delighted with the wonderful attitude of the hotel staff and the beautiful environment in which we spent our vacation. We would especially like to thank the bartender from the beach bar, Zoilanda, who was very helpful, friendly and showed a great professional attitude. We remember her often and would like to say hello to her and wish her all the best in her work at your resort and look forward to seeing her again in the summer at the beach bar. Amazing Resort, de food is outstsnding and the service staff very lovely. I got a free upgrade to seaview with my own pool instead of own pool without seaview. Cause of the locations of the room you don't have sun for too long in October on your terrasse which I found very sad, about lunchtime will be shade, but pool still in the sun. The rooms are so nice, very comfortable bed. They sadly don't refill the minibar. The one thing I didn't like, after checkin, I had to get my stuff from the parkinglot. Than they explained me where my room is, without telling me about the upgrade why I was double confused where to find my room. The seaview rolms are not visible from the main area and I walked around, completely lost with all my baggage. That is not 5star service A guy from the pool Restaurant than brought me to my room as you need to know where to go down on that level where these rooms are. Beside this, everything was very nice, also good evening programms. The buffetrestaurant had a bit special food, was sometimes hard to find things I liked and sometimes not that warm. For 6 nights I could go to one of the a la carte Restaurants for dinner 2. The food you get there, also lunchoptions was very good! Beach is not nice, not like on pictures, wouldn't stay for beachvacations, but the poolrooms are cool, no besch needed.

We stayed for a weeks all inclusive in a one room suite so we had a bedroom for us and one for our two children to share and our own small pool. Pros The design of the hotel was beautiful - very sleek and modern and it was kept exceptionally clean. Our room set up was perfect for a family of four as we had a separate room for the children to sleep in. We loved the choice of pools and the different steps and shallow areas for the children to play in. Also great being able to use the app to order drinks and food to your sun lounger if you wanted to. The spa is very sleek, not the most amazing massage and facial but reasonably priced and a nice relax. We appreciated the very well stocked shop on site and used it often. We really enjoyed the food available, we actually thought of all the restaurants the buffet had the best food and we loved the hot fresh pizza and pasta. They were also accommodating in cooking plain pasta for my particularly fussy 4 year old! We enjoyed the special breakfast on Level 2 and the pool bar lunches. Cons Despite having checked a few weeks before we flew and being assured that they had a kids club available - we found out through our travel company two days before that it would not be open while we were there. We felt this was very poorly communicated and made a significant impact to our holiday. Other than the pools and a very small play area aimed at younger children there wasn’t anything else for children. The beach at the resort was very dissappointing - dark and rocky sand it was not an inviting place to spend time. We found the staff very charming and helpful however there were a number of times when drinks we had ordered didn’t arrive or we had to chase them more than once, I’m not sure if this is because the hotel was starting to get busier. Pool towels had to be carried back to the spa to be swapped for dry ones and this closed at 6pm - they also had a huge bin for ‘wet towels’ by the main pool but the one day we did deposit our towels there we got in big trouble at the spa when we tried to get some new ones! Would be much better to just swap for dry towels by the pool as we have done elsewhere. This isn’t a hotel where you sit and look out over a lovely sunset view in the evening, the hotel in itself is beautiful but the setting doesn’t give lovely views. We would have appreciated some more storage and drying space in our room, having only one drawer for storage for a family of four for a week was a bit of a pin and we needed more space to dry wet towels and costumes.

Relaxed atmosphere. Everything was kept clean, spotless inside our room aswell as around the resort. The staff were very friendly & made you feel welcome. We ate in all the restaurants & also had room service & the food was excellent. I had a lovely relaxing holiday but there was also the option for my 13 year old son to be entertained. We will definitely be returning next year.
