Fantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

One of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. The property is so clean, modern and has the best facilities. The staff is so courteous. Plenty of food options to choose from. I cant wait to go back again.

I loved staying at Mitsis Alila. The beach and the surroundings was my favourite thing to do. The beach was so clean and I could spend a lifetime (obviously exaggerated) at this resort. The staff were so kind, helpful and always smiling. Thank you we had an amazing time with you.

We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and chose it again this year as we had previously been so impressed by it. Unfortunately standards have slipped since 2019. Service was slow in many areas and products unavailable. We were a family of 3 but our room was made up for 2. Housekeeping did come and make the bed up but we never received sufficient towels.On ordering a latte or cappuccino at breakfast it was regularly up to 20 minutes before this was served. We were always finished eating before the coffees were served. Some staff worked extremely hard but others were quite lazy. Wait times in the bar behind reception were often excessive due to a lack of staff. They claimed they couldn't always offer all drinks as they hadn't had time to stock the bar, they had been serving customers since the start of their shift. The pool bar ran out of diet coke on day 4 of our holiday and it was never replenished. The food on the buffet was actually quite limited and repetitive compared to our previous trip.We had a vomit-like substance appear in the shower so called reception to no avail. After visiting reception they sent housekeeping up to dose the shower. Housekeeping blamed us for being sick in the shower when there was quite clearly an issue with the drains. She also mopped the substance up and then used the dirty mop to clean the bathroom floor!
Alila was an excellent hotel but I would now say it is between average and good. It's a 4 star hotel now

This is a simple all inclusive hotel. It is a generous site and comfortable but has number of drawbacks.
1. food is appalling
2. the hotel is understaffed and service staff cant keep up with demands, needs and tidying communal spaces
3. pool is very small for this size of a hotel
Overall staff are lovely and very accommodating.
Given this is an all inclusive hotel - I wouldn't come back again because the food was that bad.
