The room was great! We had living, kitchen and separate bedroom. The room was clean and had many amenties. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Richmond. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The Commonwealth was great for my one night in Richmond. Leading up to the stay, the staff were responsive, friendly, and helpful on the phone. Upon check-in, were given a suite with a huge, separate living area which was convenient and unexpected. The on-site food was convenient and tasty for breakfast. Be aware that the elevators are very tiny and the hallways are narrow. Great stay- I’d definitely come back!

Lovely property in great condition. Huge room. Very fast, friendly valet parking and check in/out. Perfect location for access to Capitol and General assembly buildings. Restaurant food is OK if you're too tired to go out, but I'm pretty sure it is just frozen stuff from Costco.

Wonderful small hotel tucked away in a quiet section of the city near the capitol. Rooms were nicely decorated. Attentive front desk and valet. Restaurant needs a chef. The staff was friendly and attentive but the food is subpar and looks and tastes like reheated fare. It was edible and convenient, but a bit disappointing. That was the only issue with the trip. The hotel itself is great.

Overnight business stay, late check in and early meetings. Staff was friendly and helpful, valet parking very easy and attentive. Accomodations were clean and comfortable and location was very good for the Virginia General Assembly Building. 12:00 checkout allowed time to have meetings in the morning, come back to check out, get my car and leave seamlessly

Everything about our stay was excellent from the beginning. Great customer service from valet to front desk. Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean with a great view of the state capital grounds. Will be staying again.

Our room was already assigned to us when we arrived, and it was an extremely efficient check in process. The suite was enormous, the beds were cozy, and bathroom was great.
