Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga

Radisson Old Town Riga was home for 4 days. The hotel was very clean , always maintained nicely and looks exactly as you see it online; no "Catfish" 😁. Don't crash into Star-Trek sliding glass opening doors 😷. The employees were super nice and professional. Rooms were comfortable. I had connecting rooms. Not much of a view , but we were out exploring all day long , so why would I need a view of the night time ? Great location in the Old Town section of Riga. Everything is walking distance , never a need for a cab. Whoever's in charge of Tourism in Latvia , please market your "old town" . There's plenty to experience that we found on our own. Cathedrals ; Churches ; Museums and I know , "SOUNDS BORING", I agree , but these places were not. They were really cool , old , history , just touching the foundation and stone, rock was time travelling. Great for cool pictures and parks ( Ghetto Games Sports Complex ) so much fun ; Museums ( Cosmos Illusion ) mind-trippy. We visited Riga Zoo and this Classic Car , Air , Transport interactive Museum ( 15 minutes by car) and kids loved it ( 11 / 8 year old) I'm the first to "yawn" 🥱 at the museum thought , but this was cool 😎 Food is everywhere from Cafes , fast food ( we did McD , u have too lol 😁 ) , Circle K or , Restaurants , BBQ , Pizza spots , you name it, but for families the easiest thing is go to Self Service Lido restaurants , something for everyone. My only gripe was that the bed was not the best at the hotel , you wake up really tired , not rested. It could be a mattress preference , it was too squishy , I like firmer , but overall it was a very good time , well spent with my family!

The hotel was very clean the staff were really very nice.the rooms were very comfortable. Good breakfast. If I visit Riga again, I will definitely use the Radisson Hotel in the old. The location was perfect

In the heart of the old town!!! Very spacious rooms with a nice view of the old town. Clean and all attraction and sights can be seen on foot from this hotel. There is some nice cafes and restaurants around. All within a few mins walk. Staff weee friendly and attentive. Sorted out taxi out to the airport and was able to hold our luggage and facilitate a lack check out too. Would recommend staying here whilst you visit Riga!

Arrived at around 9 PM. Friendly staff, fast check in and then went to the room. Everything was great, clean. All the necessary things were provided, big lovely bathroom, AC in the room, nice view of the city. Super comfortable bed and amazing hot tub. Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional, maybe would want more varieties of foods & fruits and some foods with more flavour. (Just comparing this with other Radisson hotels) But overall it was ok.

The hotel is very well located in The Old Town, just under 15 min from the airpot. Very clean and staff are very friendly and efficient, also very close to all Riga main attractions, restaurants, bars and the taxi stop is in front of the hotel. I'm not giving 5* as I was giving a room on the back that doesn't have the best view.

Excellent location and staff v helpful. Room relatively small and noisy given it was above reception, but overall to be recommended.

Quaint Hotel on the edge of the Old Town, only 10 minutes walk either way of everything we wanted to see. It is quiet, the bar area is not particularly inviting, very small and mostly without clientele, so definitely not a party place which suited us. The rooms are reasonably sized, pillows good, and whilst we slept OK for the first 2 nights, on the 3rd we struggled with backache - my wife and I both thought the mattress was a little uncomfortable.

I stayed in connecting room and I lost many hours of sleep due to fella that spoke over the phone to someone. I could even hear him breathing… therefore in that sense it was just a very miserable experience for me. Everything else, including breakfast was superb! I guess I was just unlucky?

The hotel was a great location ,excellent breakfast buffet plus additional menu for other items freshly cooked.staff very friendly and helpful.Riga is lovely city.
