After an incredibly upsetting experience last night and this morning at a different hotel (in Montreal) my children and I adjusted our plans and decided to spend tonight in Lachute instead. I could not be more pleased with the staff, standard and overall experience so far at Microtel by Wyndham. We were greeted by very kind staff who were patient with my kids and very helpful. The room and facilities are pristine and the area is very accessible to restaurants and amenities. We will be back and recommend with no hesitation.

Everything was very good for the price point. The only thing is the breakfast in the morning lacked imagination.

For a brand new hotel, they missed the mark on several wheelchair accessible elements. There are only 2 wheelchair accessible parking spots, and they are NOT wide enough for a side ramp. All the curbed ends that frame the parking lot are VOID of any cutouts, so if I park in a end spot I could ideally deploy my ramp on to the grass and find a flush ares to roll off onto the ground. The emergency exist has several stairs and no ramp. In the wheelchair accessible room (207), the bed is so high that it's impossible to transfer into. There is also a metal frame that impedes getting too close. The accessible bathroom had a great roll in shower, and I commend their layout of bench and accessible to the soap shelf and handheld shower sprayer. The toilet is a good high BUT for people that need to transfer and or dress while seated on the toilet will notice that the "extra" toilet roll holder is in the way and it will actually stab you in the ribs/arms when you shift left to get clothes on. I have bruises already. *it would be helpful if the hotel could lower the extra roll holder 18" or put it on the wall next to the flush button. The sink has such a tall front apron that you can't roll under and / or it's not easily accessible to brush teeth and rinse. No accessible adjustable vanity/ makeup mirror. The hotel is no new that it still smells of paint. (Not a bad thing) The bed is VERY firm and borderline uncomfortable. I'd book again. The location was ideal.

It is an ok Hotel, relatively new and clean, Gym has only few machines, but working, no bar or restaurant. Staff was nice and helpful. No cleaning of rooms during stay.

A wonderful new hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very good! Pancakes, baked beans, hot/cold cereal with fixings, lot of bread items to toast! Very clean!
