Revel in the beautiful spaces of this prime New Mexican villa with views to the mountains and city lights at night. We call it "El Refugio", the best of Rio Rancho, steps from idyllic Corrales. Unwind with two bedrooms and full working study. Forget tension and stress in the large master bath jacuzzi. Get it all done in the fully-equipped laundry room . Cook up a feast in the well-equipped, spacious kitchen. As the sunset mountains turn red you can take to the portales with mountain views. The space The house is all on one floor. One step up from the sidewalk into the entryway and you are there. Plan provides much light and at the same time privacy from the street in all the living areas and master bedroom. There is a breakfast room for casual dining and a larger dining table in the main living area. The master bedroom suite is spacious containing a walk in closet and large bath with jacuzzi, separate shower and large dressing area. A large covered patio, the portales, provides a great place for dining with table and chairs, gas grill under the portales. Guest access Guests have full access to all spaces. Other things to note In-floor radiant heating provides the best kind of warmth for cold weather. The living area also has an easy to use gas fireplace to make things cozy. The property had everything you could possibly need including a great kitchen. We even got to watch balloons flying over in the mornings while sipping coffee. The art work in the house was really a feast for the eyes.

Very clean, spacious house. We initially didn't realize the third bedroom is an office with a futon (it does say this, but didn't realize from pictures), but our girls slept in the twin beds and it worked out well. Well stocked house and loved the outdoor space. The hosts were very quick to respond and left very clear directions. Very easy check out. Safe neighborhood. We went for the Balloon Fiesta and the location was perfect for this.

An amazing week in a beautiful home We stayed here for the Balloon Fiesta and had a great time. Close to anything you could need and great views of morning launches while drinking coffee in back yard. Hosts were great and the house was everything we expected. 👍😁

Albuquerque Delight This home was in a perfect place for family base of operations. Close enough to everything from Santa Fe to Madrid to Chimayo. Tastefully appointed and equipped. The backyard with its fountain was an oasis every evening. Will book it again next year.
