We were traveling to New York City to move our son. We needed a safe place to park our U-haul and a refrigerator to keep his food cold overnight. That is why we chose this Residence Inn.First of all, I reserved the nonrefundable room for the wrong night. I immediately realized my mistake and the hotel graciously adjusted the date. Thumbs up!
All in all, it was a nice place, well kept and close to the highway. The breakfast was great and the employees pleasant.
The only downside to our stay was the unmade sofa bed. We arrived late in a driving rainstorm and were exhausted. We were in our pjs when we opened the unmade bed and realized there were no linens in the room to make it up and no extra towels for the morning. So, my son had to get dressed and traipse down to the lobby for linens. I'm not sure what the hotel's policy is but if you're expecting a 3rd guest, the sofa bed should be made or bedding and towels should be provided. It was not the end of the world, more likely a housekeeping snafu, but an annoyance nevertheless. Otherwise, our stay was fine so I gave an excellent rating.
