Nice small hotel Nice small lodge in a very nice location of the island. Good food even if there is not much choice. Good service, friendly staff There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms and the access road to the lodge is quite bad, fortunately only for a final short stretch. It was a good experience

This was an excellent stay and a wonderful way to discover the many things that Rodrigues has to offer. Jean and his staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The lodge prioritises natural access to the beach and a wonderful sense of secludedness. Some thoughtful amenities are included and activities and tours can be organised. Food was a highlight. Loved every moment!

Delightful boutique beach front property with attractive gardens. Staff were friendly, caring & efficient. A special thank you to Jean the manager who assisted us when a medical issue occurred. Will definitely stay here again when next on Rodrigues.

As usual the place is great was our 3rd stay . Staff as usual superrrr great . April was a great choice we were there before in November & January previously … Food is good as usual . The new GM is super cool , pro & helpful . Need some small maintenance the room …nothing major . Would definitely go again for the 4th time next year . XXXX V

Well appointed bungalow, excellent location, nice view, lavish garden with Aloe Vera plants and lemon trees, tasteful breakfast & dinner, exceptionally nice personnel...Bakwa Lodge was indeed a beautiful experience. We were two family members sharing a Bungalow and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is ideally located on the south east of the Island with a direct access to the beach. Easy to watch the sunrising early morning. Easy to escape to Cats Island for a boat trip or a Kitesurfing ride in the lagoon. We rented a scooter to visit the Island (easier than a car to visit the island) and made a couple of treks with a guide. A special thanks to Reggie and his team who made our stay memorable. We'll be back!

Aux antipodes d'un luxe bling-bling et tapageur, le Bakwa est un petit établissement de quelques bungalows à deux pas de la plage avec vue sur le lagon (un peu agité parfois). L'extrême gentillesse du personnel est si naturelle qu'elle en est désarmante. La cuisine, faite maison, est raffinée et excellente. Sans télé, avec un WiFi juste dans le bâtiment principal, on s'y sent bien. Avec une furieuse envie de prolonger le séjour. Ou d'y revenir sans trop attendre.

Nous avons loué la villa pour 6 personnes. C'était notre 3ème séjour au Bakwa Lodge que nous apprécions énormément. La décoration simple et élégante, le petit déjeuner délicieux, le dîner frais et varié font de ce lieu un endroit exceptionnel. Pas de tv, wifi uniquement à la réception et pas besoin de piscine car le lagon est au bout du jardin. C'est un endroit authentique qui fait approcher de près la douceur rodriguaise. Quand au personnel, il est accueillant, discret et très efficace. Nous y reviendrons bien sûr.

Tout était incroyable : le lieu, l’accueil, le personnel, ! Un lieu cocooning où la détente est assurée ! Restaurant fabuleux, vraiment une cuisine très raffinée. Les plats sont très raffiné et copieux. Sans compter sur le magnifique cadre avec sa vue sur le lagon
