This hotel feels like a hidden oasis. It is down a narrow alleyway and has a sign so small that you wouldn’t know that it was there unless looking for it. Once inside, you will find an elegant and sumptuous environment, rich in details and beautiful finishes. We booked a terrace room and the manager generously upgraded us to the corner terrace suite. The terrace was spacious, with a table with two chairs as well as two surprisingly comfortable loungers. The terrace itself overlooked the magnificent Borghese Palazzio and its courtyard with statues and fountain. The suite itself was gorgeous and spacious, with a separate living room, full coffee-tea service, and a luxurious bathroom with a bidet. Water pressure was strong and hot water plentiful. The bedroom had a spacious walk-in closet, lovely comfortable bed, and good pillows. Each of the three rooms had a sophisticated Smart Control system. I enjoyed puzzling out the various functions but some guests might find it a bit complicated on first glance. Every night’s turndown service was thoughtful and lovely, laying out slippers on bedside mats, drinks, and a sweet elegantly presented in a jewel case. I understand that this hotel is known for its discreet and gracious service, and apparently draws a distinguished clientele for those in the know. I can see why! They made me feel like a valued guest and VIP in every way. Highly recommended!
