Absolutely fantastic stay! 10/10 would recommend. The jacuzzi (which everyone has access to) has a fantastic view.

We spent 4 nights at the White Exclusive in Feb 2024 for our anniversary. We had booked a Junior Suite but was surprised with an upgrade to an Ocean suite for our stay… the view from the roomWas STUNNING! And if you like a quiet place this is it, only 10 suites in total and while we were there only 8 other people staying there! It was like having our own private location! The service was fantastic from helping coordinate taxis, meals, use of the jacuzzi. Everything! Even offered us a box breakfast since we had a tour leaving at 8am which is when the restaurant opens. Speaking of the restaurant…. The food was simply amazing! A few things to know, let them know if you’re arriving early (like the overnight flight from Boston) as the hotel staff doesn’t start until 8am but can make accommodations for you if they know you’re coming! The hotel is in Lagoa , about 15 min taxi from Ponta Delgada, there are a few restaurants you can walk to but it is limited. Be sure to have cash for taxis, not all take credit card. Highly recommend this hotel for a secluded quiet and beautiful stay!

I stayed here for a solo trip, and I was extremely pleased. The hotel rooms have been recently renovated and are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. My hotel room was cleaned thoroughly everyday. My room (including most - if not all) opened out onto the deck overlooking the sea. Breakfast was included with a nice selection. Staff were friendly and super helpful every step of the way. Some nice additional touches include: 1) A cell phone was provided with my room to use during my visit. Daily suggested trip itineraries were texted to the phone. 2) Grey towels were provided for use at the hot springs. 3) Breakfast was packed for my early morning flight. I definitely recommend staying here! The capital is only a 15 min taxi ride away.

My partner and I spent four nights at White Villas to cap off two weeks in Portugal and the Azores. It was a perfect, centrally-located home base for us to relax after long adventures on Sao Miguel, stay cozy during a tropical storm, and enjoy one another's company in a peaceful setting. The breakfast is tasty and the staff are kind and accommodating and will do their best to make your stay memorable. We loved being able to walk directly out of our room (one of the Unique Suites) and onto the pool deck where even on a cloudy day, the view is tough to beat.

Absolutely beautiful property. Amazing customer service. They cater to your every need. I have never felt more relaxed. We will definitely be back.

The team at White made us feel instantly at home, we were welcomed and well taken care of for the entirety of our stay. We’ve fallen in love with Sao Miguel and it’s all thanks to each person at White. Every day we’d get personalised recommendations on where to go, what to see and what to avoid to make the most of our time on the island. Communication was effortless as the team gave us a phone to talk to them with - very responsive and helpful every time we spoke. The suite was beautiful and uncluttered with rich details and textures - a real calm retreat after a day filled with lots of sites and scenery. Every person that works at White are friendly, helpful and accommodating even our airport pickup created such a wonderful impression. This was by far our most favourite part of our holiday. Thank you to Sandra (for helping us arrange a rental car and welcoming us to white), João (for personalised tips on where to go on the island), Rodrigo (for making a proper martini and chatting to my husband for hours while I was resting and recovering from a flu) and each and everyone of you for treating us so special during our stay. Highly recommended for amazing service and incredible suite.

The experience was truly a priceless experience The hotel is new but with the charm of the life it had before The rooms have breathtaking views , in fact there are few locations like this where you wake up every morning with the most perfect view of the sea… Which of course is a changing spectacular landscape everyday! Most importantly the front desk led by Joao and professionally and efficiently assisted by Ana We’re unparalleled in their ability to understand the needs and wishes of we had. My trip would not have been the same without their thoughtful guidance. In my experience, a fine hotel is only as good as the staff. In this regard Joao and Ana are superstars!! I highly recommend this experience!!

What a fantastic “home”. We stayed at White Exclusive’s private home, La Maison, for my daughter’s 30th birthday celebration. The house was gorgeous and the ocean view was magnificent. We used all the amenities…fully stocked kitchen, two fire pits, infinity pool, covered patio with a dining table and couch, double lounger by the sea cliff, even games and yoga mats. Every morning between 8-11 am they delivered a breakfast of scrambled eggs, various breads with butter, jams and honey, cheeses, sliced meats, fresh juice and fruits. They also had an espresso machine that we used frequently. The hotel even delivered a birthday cake and bottle of Prosecco as a thoughtful surprise! The beds were super comfy, and we each had our own bathroom. The daily cleaning crew did an excellent job. There was plenty of private parking. We will DEFINITELY be returning.

We had an incredible stay!!! Hotel is stunning - rooms are beautiful, spotless, and fantastic eating area to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean. Outstanding food - we loved our breakfasts and dinners at the property. Amazing location to use as a base. And, staff so kind, helpful, and truly do all they can to make your stay special. Highly recommend staying at this most incredible property!!!
