Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield M1,Jct.33

Good location and ease of access to M1 no problem. Venue check in was easy and quick no messing about. Room was clean and tidy though the complimentary biscuit for the tea and coffee was missing, no big deal they are nice though ! Bathroom was clean no issues. There was a wedding on the day of travel so a lot of people hanging around especially the entrance to hotel. Bar seating area lounge was small and the drinks draught beers were expensive over £5 pint ! Generally a good stay staff helpful and courtease. Would stay again.

The Staff were very polite and amazing. Very proactive and friendly service. The property being in the construction industry I would advise a complete refurbishment in a phased manner to minimise disruption to customers and to continue business as usual. Kind Regards ISRAR Construction Manager

Arrived after 3pm friday checked in customer service was great Had a problem with the room a very strong odur very unpleasant Went down to report this at the reception and they couldn't be more helpfull changed my room straight away I enjoyed use of the gym also the sauna I always enjoy my stay at the holiday inn

Curtains in room 331 hanging off the non existent rail. Was not told to input my car registration into tablet. I had to ask. Was not referred to code to exit car park. Had to renter hotel. Was told to access a QR code to get menus when in my room. Not everyone has a smartphone. Luckily anorher member of staff heard me asking and got me a menu from the bar. I booked on line and was offered breakfast for 2. No mention of breakfast for 1 I felt as though as i had booked on line, a standard double room for single occupancy, i was given tge worst room available with a sloping ceiling and see my comment above about the curtains which were hanging loose becuse of the sloping ceiling. Nothing to hang from. I've already completed this survey once and have been asked again.

I arrived late on a Friday night and realised I'd made a mistake with my booking. The staff on duty went out of their way to make it right and ensure that I wasn't inconvenienced by my error.

Noisy room facing bypass, and light streams through large gap at bottom of room door. 45 minutes for 1 drink to be delivered to room. No consideration at checkin for anyone with a disability.
