Château Canet

I hosted a small group of 14 Canadians to Chateau Canet. We created many wonderful memories. With Victoria’s help we had 4 glorious days at the winery and villages nearby. I highly recommend a stay here. And the wine is amazing!! Thank you!!!

What an amazing stay we had at Chateau Canet. Victoria helped our group of 7 plan every detail of our 4 day/night stay. The cottages are cozy, clean and very comfortable. Victoria organized all the details, from our transportation, cooking class, site seeing vineyard tours, amazing lunches and dinners. Our final dinner was at the Chateau with a Michelin Star chef they had hired to cook for us. This was my 2nd time, and my friends first visit. We all had a wonderful time. The wine at Chateau Canet is also delicious, which was an added bonus. Truly a lovely place for so many reasons. Victoria and Floris are such amazing hosts. I felt like I was "coming home" at the end of each day of site seeing and adventure. I will return, and I highly recommend a visit here to all interested in this beautiful part of France.

Just back from a couple of days days with the little ones first trip to Chateau Canet. We had a ball relaxing by the pool and walking the grounds. Day trips to Carcassonne only 10mins in the road. Ròse wine as good as ever. Big thanks to Victoria & Marie for giving us a great welcome & stay.

This was an amazing place. We stayed there for Stephen and Kathy Picton's wedding. The place is magical. They cater to all your wants and needs. The grounds are beautiful with vineyards all around. There is a beautiful pool to cool off. It is private and secluded. The rooms are very nice snf hsve s little kitchen in the room we were in. The owners were wonderful and were truly there to make our stay wonderful.

If you're looking for a wedding venue in the south of France, congratulations, you've found it. The venue is beautiful, the wine is fantastic, and Victoria and her team are absolute legends. We recently had our wedding here and every single one of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Obviously the location and the weather played a huge part in their enjoyment, but quite frankly, the location and weather would mean little if it weren't for the efforts of Victoria and her team. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Victoria's little black book of suppliers removed all the stress from arranging the DJ, florist, photographer, makeup artist, caterers, and the rest. The kitchen was kept stocked with their wonderful selection of wines ... La Blanquette was a particular favourite of our group. The gites are clean and comfortable. The surroundings are impeccably maintained. And even the freshly ground coffee was incredible. And of course, Nelson and Miles. Victoria's loyal canine companions who followed her everywhere. Beautiful, gentle dogs that all of our guests fell in love with. The only bad thing about the venue is that I sometimes find myself planning a divorce so that I can plan another wedding here. But perhaps I'll settle for heading back here some day to celebrate an anniversary, or two. Victoria and team, you rock. Thank you for an amazing three days. I truly hope I'll see you again.

Our wedding at Chateau Canet was beyond perfect. The stunning and rural grounds make a beautiful setting, with so many areas to hold different parts of the day, it feels like you have access to many venues rather than one! One of the main things that makes Chateau Canet stand out is the hospitality & support of Victoria and her team - from the detailed yet relaxed approach to planning (giving us as the couple the opportunity to have things exactly as we would like) to making our guests feel completely at home during their stay and helping them with anything they needed. Location wise, it's extremely convenient to travel from Carcassonne airport yet feels completely secluded once there. We made memories here with friends & family we will never forget and wouldn't have changed a thing - if you're looking to host a unique wedding weekend, we can't recommend Chateau Canet enough!

Where start? We were a part of a group wine and food adventure in the Languedoc area and Chateau Canet was are home base for 7 days. We were welcomed like family and old friends from the host Victoria , Anna and also included two beautiful dogs ( Nelson & Miles) all made our stay an amazing and memorable vacation. The accommodations were generous, well appointed with a lot of thought and comfort. We were given a bread bag every day on our front door with fresh baguette and croissants along with jams etc... a very French way to start our days. All the grounds of the Winery and Chateau were our to explore and along with a great Bocci ball court, tennis and a nice relaxing pool area. We would highly recommend Chateau Canet for a getaway or a family reunion and of course weddings. We look forward and to our next stay, Merci beaucoup!!

We booked a weekend for a large group of friends and Canet was everything we needed and more! Pretty gites with private kitchen and bathroom facilities, but yet we could gather together in a big common dining area, game room, not to mention the exterior spaces. Victoria and her family are wonderful hosts! We're already planning our next trip to chateau Canet:)

We held our wedding reception here in August 2022 after booking the venue without ever visiting! It was the most magical week and can honestly say we loved every second of our trips over whilst planning. Victoria and her team were there to support us every step of the way with anything we needed - from florist recommendations to local restaurants . No ask was too big. It really felt like returning home by the time our wedding day arrived. The chateau and it’s surrounding areas are stunningly beautiful and so peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better week with all our friends and family - even those who didn’t drink wine before visiting are now avid rosé lovers! We cannot wait to visit again and relive all our happy memories. Thank you so much for all the help you gave us over the last 7 months , we couldn’t have done it without you! Our memories will last a lifetime.
