Extremely disappointing. The hotel does not bear any similarity to the photos on site, in desperate need of a refurbishment. Room smelt of wet dog. Restaurant service was poor, kitchen ran out of food although we arrived 80 minutes before close of service, offered carrot salad and a pizza to share between two. Previous revues said hotel would be refurbished by beginning of this year, this has not happened. Hotel should not be under the Campanile banner.

Hotel looked drab, scruffy and down at heel when we drove in to thr car park. Receptionist friendly and helpful, but even though not full could not accommodate my request for a ground floor room instead of 2nd floor no lift. Rooms very very tired and bathroom worse, with only one light working! It was however all very clean with fresh bedding and towels. Im guessing this Campanile is yet to receive a refurbishment! Also strangely the restaurant was only open on Monday Tuesday and Thursday - closed at weekends! Had to get back in the car after a ling drive from Italy to go and find a restaurant for dinner. Not ideal and wouldnt stay againin this Campanile.

This was a business trip. We stay here each time we need to visit this area and are very happy with the overall hotel. Personnel friendly and helpful, convenient location for us and easy parking.

Avoid avoid , the worst hotel I have ever been to . I wasn’t expecting a lot at £60 a night but this was awful. Only positive was a lovely friendly trainee on reception . The room stank like an ashtray , the shutter was broken so unable to raise. The shower holder was broken . The sheets were stained. The food at the restaurant was dire. The fillet of chicken turned out to be an undercooked leg with some chips and we were charged €11.95 each . Sent the chicken back as didn’t want food poisoning. My advise would be don’t go!

Sleep on our way to Italy. Simple and would have rated 4 stars if not for: horrible smell (I think somebody smoked a lot of cigarettes in there) and some lights didn’t work. Bathroom and the beds were clean

Really look old .I will return there .

Ne voulant pas rester sur une mauvaise impression après un passage '' mitigé '' l 'année dernière (propreté et accueil ) , je me suis contrainte suite à une obligation professionnelle avec mon mari à y revenir... Et là... Quelle -bonne- surprise à l'accueil ! Accueil chaleureux et aimable avec un jeune homme à l'écoute, prêt à vous rendre service comme par exemple vous accompagner à la chambre . La salle était propre, rangé et une atmosphère de sérénité qui donne envie. Dommage qu'ensuite la chambre vétuste avec de nombreux points négatifs n'ayant toujours pas été réglés viennent gâcher un peu le séjour.

Chambre vieillotte, salle de bain déprimante. 1 prise électrique pour toute la chambre et loin du lit. Restaurant : prix prohibitifs 6€50 pour une quiche industrielle, même tarif pour le flan tout aussi industriel et le plat servi comme a la cantine... Petit déjeuner correct.
