オテル ドゥ ラ フェルム ラミー(Hôtel de la Ferme Lamy)

Lovely little hotel with splendid views, a beautiful swimming pool and a wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and most especially enjoyed our evening dinners with the sunset view on the beautiful outdoor terrace. We found our rooms a little dark and would have preferred to reserve a room facing the terrace / swimming pool so that we could enjoy sitting outside with the lovely view. Otherwise, a lovely property that we wouldn’t hesitate to return to.

We loved our four night stay. Host Arnold was the nicest, kindest and most attentive host you could wish for. We had an issue with our hire car and Arnold was happy to ferry us into town and back for a meal when his own restaurant was not open. We dined at the hotel two nights and the meal was superb- he is an excellent chef. The hotel setting is beautiful. All the public areas, and rooms, are scrupulously clean . The pool is a delight and the view stunning. We will be back and thank you again.

Truly a hidden gem: La Ferme Lamy is far enough away from the Sarlat tourist traffic to offer tranquility, close enough to everything to provide convenience. The stone-walled rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the hospitality warm and gracious. We regretted not having time to take advantage of the beautiful infinity swimming pool or to spend more time on the dining patio overlooking the rolling Périgord fields. We would certainly return (and we really hope to do so someday). This is an excellent hotel.

We stayed here in July for 5 nights. It was beautiful and the food was amazing. Wonderful new owners, who were very helpful and kind. Beautiful views of the valley from the infinity pool. Will look forward to returning.

What a quaint and relaxing place to stay. We booked this hotel last minute when our previous plans changed and were very happy with our choice! The small hotel is in a farming community, with wonderful views from the infinity pool. The owner Arnaud is an incredible chef as well and we had an amazing dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable, although the decor was a little dated. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat…this is your place!

Hotel La ferme Lamy ligt midden in de natuur. Wij ervaarden hier wat echte stilte is. Uitstekende ruime kamer op de bovenverdieping van het bijgebouw met fijne douche, mega groot comfortabel bed. Helaas geen uitzicht via de dakramen. Ruim buitenterras waar het Franse ontbijt prima smaakt. Wij leerden opnieuw de combinatie stokbrood roomboter en abrikozenjam waarderen. Er is ook een gekookt ei, melk, kaas, ham en dergelijke. Het diner (geen keuzediner) is zoals dat past bij een boerderij in de Dordogne. Wij kregen knoflooksoep, eend met gebakken aardappelen en een appeltaartje als dessert. Eenvoudig en traditioneel. En een vriendelijke ontvangst en afscheid van de gastheer. Complimenten.

Un séjour extraordinaire dans cet hôtel de charme très bien situé au coeur de ce que la Dordogne peut offrir de mieux ! Accessibilité, accueil, confort, calme, piscine, proximité sites à visiter, tout y est sans oublier les fameux confits de canard préparés avec amour et servis avec le sourire :) ZE place to be si vous avez programmé un séjour en Dordogne à un excellent rapport qualité-prix ! Excellent séjour dans une campagne magnifique. Nous avons adoré les bons petits plats d Arnaud. La chambre était très confortable et quel silence ! appréciable pour les parisiens que nous sommes . A refaire très vite. Nous en profiterons pour faire du kayak sur la Dordogne !

Excellent séjour, accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires avec le sentiment d être comme à la maison avec un confort supplémentaire et des prestations de qualité. Moment de détente vraiment au top, avec une cuisine de qualité préparé par le propriétaire. Nous savons déjà que nous y reviendrons bientôt, en famille car les espaces extérieurs sont parfait avec un accès à la piscine. Belle découverte !
