"If you like a privately owned hotel that meticulously takes care of its guests on its own terms, this is the place for you. It has the initial feel of a grand old manor with a huge parking courtyard and yet in reality it’s fairly rustic and simple, but feels very real. The triple we stayed in was spacious with simple tiled floors and decorations that referenced south East Asia, which is clearly the owner’s style. An hour of spa time is included with each stay and the spa is very nice with a steam room, dry sauna and a cooling pool, though don’t expect luxury. The breakfast is a delicious traditional French spread."

"Well placed for visiting the Châteaux, 10 minutes by car from Amboise and close to other tourist sites, good value for money, I recommend. Very comfortable 3* hotel: look of the rooms certainly a little dated, but it was spacious, very clean, well equipped (kitchen area with Nespresso machine - bring your capsules), very good recent bedding, with a small terrace/balcony in front of the room , all in a quiet countryside area, we slept very well. Indeed the railway line and the main road are not far away, but don't worry: the rooms are at the back of the building, you can't hear anything. We particularly appreciated the team/managers: a great welcome, a breakfast served with big smiles, we felt great! And in the middle of summer, the garden with its deck chairs and other cozy furniture has a very nice bucolic side, it really feels like a country inn where you want to stay for several days."
