チェスコス ホステル & ホテル(Chescos Hotel & Hostel)

The accomodations are ok, the locations is great if you want to be in the centre of all the action. It is very conveniently located in terms of beach, restaurants, coffee shops etc. etc. but very very loud at night, bring ear plugs. The service in the restaurant was absolutely awful (during the day - particularly one waitress). The evening staff was much better. The food is ok at best and I wasn't there to eat burgers which is what they have. I wanted authentic local cuisine and often found better food for cheaper than this place. Also restaurant was open sometimes during the day and other times was not open with no reason for it. It would take 15min in the morning to get a coffee when it was open. The showers do have hot water but its hit and miss and rarely consistent so it's either too hot or too cold. The place locks up at 11pm so you have to stand there and ring someone to let you in (which is fine) but we tried to leave the property at 6am a couple of times to go to the gym and had to go back to our rooms because no one was around. Being a hostel I thought there would be a cool international travel vibe going on there but this was not the case during our stay. Very few people spoke English or our native language (not spanish) so meeting people was very tough as well. It would definitely help to speak Spanish.

Nice location and bar on second floor is nice but I would not stay here. The male reception guy is extremely rude. Rooms are very basic. I would recomend staying else where in Salinas. Place does not feel secure either rooms very open to the public.

All of the workers were all so friendly and accommodating. The hostel is above a cool little restaurant that has very good prices. The location can not be beaten.

La habitación es pequeña fácilmente como para 4 personas pero acogedora con baño propio, higiénica, aire acondicionado funcionado, toallas, jabón, con una mesa noche, una manpara con vista al mar, la amabilidad del personal al 100, buena comida, buenas bebidas, el restobar nos encanto, regresaría sin dudar.

Mucho ruido y poco descanso como lo que dice en el hotel, del WiFi mejor ni hablamos, funciona horrible, se lo dijimos al chico de recepción, pero como si no le hubiéramos dicho nada, mal servicio, en la hora del desayuno, dejaba mucho que desear la atención por parte del personal, excepto la de un chico que era el único simpático y agradable. Una mala experiencia que no volveremos a repetir. No lo recomiendo, ni por servicio, ni por descanso, ni por atención.
