Poor Internet service in Room on bottom floor, Poor breakfast and lack of options. Restaurants in area also close early and can not accommodate large groups of 4 or more. Take your own food or be prepared.

First the good: check-in lady was friendly. Overall, room was spacious and comfortable. Now the not so good: check-out lady was unfriendly, gave me no greeting or thank you. Bathroom was teeny. Toilet perfect size for leprechaun or dwarf. My “river view” was a riverbed of rocks. Room was way overpriced. TV had Dish which is good except that CNN was purposely removed and not listed in tv channel guide. Huge negative! I can’t recommend staying here.

The Staff was friendly. But at one time they had a great breakfast, now it is not much different from Super 8 across the street just more expensive.

Well, we assumed too much. $151 room per night and it was similar to a $70 room. No frig. No microwave. Beds were not too old, but the rooms are. Pool/Spa was drained with no notice on their site. They did tile in the shower which was nice, but the rest of the experience was less than stellar. The people running it seemed nice but the place needs some love if you are going to charge that kind of money per night.

Traveling from far away, this location was nestled in the perfect spot to access most of the town, and felt like home.

Wagon wheel is always a favorite when visiting Salmon. It may not be the newest, but the sound of the river lulls me to sleep; view is spectacular. Staff is the best! Parking is plentiful. Short walk to city park and an excellent dog park!!

Most everything was okay but the breakfast was not enough options. They also only have instant Decaf coffee instead of brewed and it was gross! We needed a new soap and towel and called from desk and they said house keeping doesn’t come in until 9. So we said we need these things and he said in a begrudgingly tone, I’ll write it down. Check out is at 11 which doesn’t give us much time. There was also only one bar of soap between 4 people for 2nights. It ran out yesterday. It’s also a sort of loud hotel. Slamming doors and loud footsteps. I know hardwood looks nice but there is no sound dampening. I did enjoy the bed though. Just the service really ******.

This was an awesome place to stay right on the river. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone.

A beautiful hotel on the river, The gentle sound of the river is relaxing and ensures a good night sleep. Rooms are spacious, clean, and the staff is informative and persona. Will stay there again my next trip that way
