A lovely, friendly hotel in a fantastic location. The Goldgasse is a beautiful street to walk down. All pedestrian. An easy walk to all the sights. Nice rooms and good breakfast. They provided a special breakfast for my sister, who is vegan. Highly recommended.

We think this is the smallest hotel we have ever stayed at. There were only 15 rooms altogether. We found out when we arrived. There's no receptionist after 7 p.m. I think but we're informed about access to the hotel after hours. If you plan to arrive late at night, you will need to inform them in advance. The hotel sent us a text asking for our arrival time. At first we were a bit concerned but with that many rooms perhaps it's doable as there were phone numbers for emergency contacts. We booked a superior double room. Our room comes with an individual unit of air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, hot water dispenser for coffee/tea. Breakfast was good. This hotel maybe the closest one to the biggest Christmas market in old town Salzburg as there were a few other smaller Christmas markets as well. Old town Salzburg is such a unique and charming place. This is our third time in Salzburg.

Beautifully located small hotel close to Residenz Plaz. Be aware taxis can only come to the end of Goldgasse. I could only afford a single room as Salzburg isn't a cheap city however the room was beautifully appointed and very warm and cosy. The light switches are quite high-tec but worked it out (sort of) in the end. Plenty of hanging and storage space so I never felt cramped. I slept well and breakfast was good. I'm never quite comfortable when there isn't a 24-hour reception but luckily it didn't cause me any problems on this occasion. I'd be quite happy coming here again.

Wonderful hotel. Great location. We came in late due to Trains, and as we approached on the street the Desk clerk was coming from the other direction. She was waiting for us and we were so grateful they were on top of our being late. It's a small family hotel. Everybody was happy and helpful. Breakfast was nice. I would stay here again.

First of all, what a fantastic location. But what this hotel has is a wonderful, warm staff that make you feel like the most important guest in their hotel, even though they have 15 rooms. Great service and they always were attentive and took great care of our needs. They also gave us great advice on how to spend our time. It was truly a pleasure to stay there.

A small hotel in the center of Salzburg. Whether you want to go for a concert at the Mirabell, visit the castle Hohensalzburg or just do some shopping you are close to it. I had a small room which was very well planned and a nice bed. It had AC which was nice as the weather was very warm. Staff was brilliant and breakfast very good. For instance you had your egg prepared as you wished. A decent espresso or two at your wish. If you arrive by car, you can go there. But if there are festivities ask instead for advice of which garage they cooperate with, then you get a discount. The walk from the garage is five minutes.
