"Based on my 20 years of experience in various hotels, primarily abroad for winter sports, in a slightly higher price range than the Gai Soleil Hotel, here is my review: The hotel is located near the center, and the bus stop for the ski lifts is right across the street. The welcome was warm, the staff were helpful and accommodating, even with my reservations. The room was comfortable with decent bedding, a desk, a TV, a balcony, and a safe in the closet. The bathroom with toilet is adjoining the room (soap and tissues are provided). A renovation of the bathroom and the room's carpeting would be a plus. Overall, the room was clean. However, a more thorough cleaning would have improved the experience even further (e.g., we found a sneaker left under the bed). We spoke with the housekeeper, who immediately took care of it. Half-board breakfast was good, served buffet-style with sweet and savory options, fresh orange juice, fruit, pastries, homemade cakes and jams, etc. Dinner was very good, served at the table (starter, main course, several dessert choices). The relaxation area includes a heated outdoor pool under a dome with a jacuzzi. In the basement: a sauna, a jacuzzi, a hammam, a gym, and a relaxation room. A small ski boot warmer is located next to the boiler room, along with ski racks (they could be a bit larger, and there should be a place to sit while putting on boots). "I stayed at Residence La Cour on the 28th of December and I highly recommend this complex. The entire team, including Pauline, Katherine, Mark, and the rest of the staff, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel features a cozy lobby/bar where you can enjoy great drinks and a delightful continental breakfast. The addition of a Spa—complete with a sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi—adds a touch of relaxation to the experience. Our room was perfect for a couple, and it even included a small kitchen, which was convenient for preparing breakfast. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the Gondola, making it ideal for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. We had such a wonderful experience that we’re already planning to come back. Residence La Cour truly delivers comfort, convenience, and excellent service!"
