Wow from start to finish totally fell in love with hotel Sofia and the town surrounding it, the family make you feel extremely welcome and their passion for the place shines out because of the beautiful gardens and everywhere is clean and smells wonderful, the breakfasts wow just wow lots of surprises each day, nova and yanni should be on master chef. All the guest all nationalities were just so friendly and welcoming, Saturday bbq is a mouthwatering joy. Spent 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. We were treated like royalty. Nova the owner is exceptional, always smiling , ask for a cushion for sunbed it's there in 5 minutes. Bed not too your liking, mattress topper straight away . Breakfast , plenty of choice, eggs, boiled, scrambled, omelette, cakes, fruit, pancakes. Even gave me some pain relief cream for my aches and pains. Amanda and Maria , kept the room sparkling and were lovely women . Would definitely go again . Love to you all Carole and Lisa

Everthing about this wonderful place is absolutly outstanding. The rooms are spotless, the pool area and gardens are an oasis of calm. The beach and surrounding are so lovely, plenty of restaurants and bars. The lovely family who run it are all absolutly AMAZING Vasilis Manoli and Nova!! Not forgetting the lovely housekeepers..Amanda and Maria.The breakfast was stunning! The best weve ever had in Greece. A little piece of paradise, we cant wait to return!!

Brilliant location. Lovely family run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Amazing breakfast with homemade jams , pancakes, scones and crumble( yes crumble) etc .Lovely pool side lunches. Rooms spotless . Lovely gardens and 2 minutes from shops and beach. The only holiday where you can totally chill and relax. Already booked again for next year ( can't wait)

We've travelled all over the world over the past 30 years, and this is the first hotel we've returned to the next year (this is our second trip to the hotel) Everything just clicks together to give a wonderful holiday experience. The rooms are what you'd expect from a small family hotel, but they are spotlessly clean and the little touches in the room show that the owners really care. The breakfasts are at another level. Every day there's a different selection of freshly made cakes and savoury dishes Greek yoghurt fruit etc. The barbecue on a Saturday is a must if you stay here. Such a wide selection of food, and a great place to meet other guests. In the evening it was lovely to chat with the other guests around the bar. Everyone seemed to just get along, but that's probably because of the whole atmosphere created in the hotel. We've raved about this hotel so much that we have 6 friend that are planning to come with us when we return yet again next year.

We enjoyed the most wonderful holiday at Hotel Sofia. The host family are absolutely lovely. The beds are comfortable, the showers work well. The breakfast is outstanding with a vast selection of delicious, homemade food. The location is ideal. The beach is gorgeous and there are loads of restaurants within easy walking. We also went sea kayaking, on a brilliant fishing boat trip and a trip to Pythagoria. We have already booked to come again next year and we've never done that before.

Lovely room at the rear of the hotel. Cleaning staff excellent and so friendly. Excellent choice of food for breakfast and the homemade jams and cakes were amazing - thank you Nova. Friendly staff and owners , lovely pool area ,close to the beach. So relaxing . Definitely be returning

We stayed in July 2025, a family with a 4-year kid. Hotel Sofia is a hidden treasure among smaller, traditional Greek hotels. As soon as you arrive, you feel calm and welcome. The hotel area is full of greenery, the hotel lobby looks like someone's living room and looks very cozy. If you arrive in the morning, the kind owner will greet you and invite you for breakfast. There, you'll meet Nova – and being welcomed by her feels like visiting your auntie after many years. And if you've never had an auntie like that, just go there – you’ll understand. She’s so warm and friendly – and she even has endless patience for little ones wandering curiously around her breakfast territory making funny faces at them to make them laugh. The breakfast is homemade and delicious – the chef cooks just like your grandma! The swimming pool is clean and perfect for relaxing. The rooms are basic, but nice and cozy, always super clean and smelling fresh, thanks to the amazing cleaning ladies who do their job with care and heart. Oh and the beach - beach is wonderful, long, wide, with natural shadow of trees and mountain in the backwards. Very few people on the beach even in the high season. If you don’t like large hotel complexes but prefer a personal touch, this hotel should be on your list of places to stay!
