La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Seaworld/Lafb

We were looking for a hotel near our family. We received a suggestion from Trip.com to take a gander at La Quinta Inn & Suites Sea World. The price offered for our lengthy stay was unbeatable elsewhere. I read the reviews and had a few concerns, but you just never know. Now, what I am about to mention I do not say lightly because I travel extensively. We arrived at the hotel after an exhaustive travel day on the road. We were greeted by a young lady named Samantha. She was probably the best front desk clerk that I have ever encountered. She was inviting, respectful and welcoming to La Quinta. She asked how our day was and assured us that our stay would be as comfortable as she could make it. She explained everything and directed us to the elevators. As we walked away, she reminded us to call on her if we encountered any issues and wished us a good night. The hotel was clean and safe. I woke up during the night and looked outside the window to check on my vehicle. I found a security vehicle stationed at the entrance of the property. This was good to see and put me at peace. The only issues that I had was the coffee and the room. I found the coffee to be Luke warm to cold on two occasions in the morning. As for the room, the hotel was a non smoking hotel, but I swear someone had previously smoked in the room. The aroma wasn't too bad but I could tell. It was tolerable but unfortunate. You trust visitors to follow the rules but not all can be controlled. A huge thanks to the best front desk clerk Samantha who checked in on us during our week visit. Thank you!

When we got to our room and was preparing for bed, we discovered that the linens on the bed were dirty. There were large stains near the head of the bed. We asked for new linens and were told that there was no one to bring them to us, that we would have to come get them at the front desk. We got the clean linens and had to make the bed ourselves. After this incident the stay was fine.

I was very leery at the beginning because I had heard some bad reports about la Quinta . But I am glad I chose this particular hotel and would stay here again. The property is very clean and staff is very attentive to your needs.

The room was clean and attractive, but it lacked the warm inviting comfort that a room should offer. You could hear your voice echo when talking, and although the decor was attractive it felt very sterile.

Many dining options to choose from. Easy freeway access. Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff.

We were celebrating our 24th Wedding Anniversary with our close friends from Florida. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful meeting all our need. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Thanks 😊

The rooms were clean. Staff members were responsive and friendly. The milk at breakfast tasted sour and they addressed the problem right away when brought to their attention.
