ITH ビーチ バンガロー サーフ ホステル(ITH Beach Bungalow Surf Hostel San Diego)

My friends and I saw online that certain beds were open so we booked these beds hoping we would be able to fill a room with just ourselves. Mind you, there's like 20 of us so even if we couldn't fill a room it would be logical if most of us were together. When we got there, all of us were split up. Not a single one of us were in the same room. That's fine. We just have to adapt. We tried to get our refund and only got it for the second night. Even after explaining our circumstance the front desk wouldn't listen. Still, I believe that this was a justifiable reason to want our money back. How can the online site say there's a whole room available and when we book this room/beds it disappears when we get there. It sounds like poor planning on the staffs part to me. I am very unhappy and I want my money back asap.

Everything fine but the constant music is STRESSFUL One would need few days to enjoy all the features of this place. Parking $20 but I found street parking not far away (after some time searching) The breakfast facility was good, eggs and pancakes are adequate sustenance

I loved staying at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even offered me a tour at check in (never had a hostel do this before!). The location is PERFECT for walking on the beach, shopping, getting food, local bars, etc. The dorm was clean (I didn't have to make my own bed - another first!) and comfortable, and I could hear the ocean waves through the wall when I went to bed. In the morning there were FREE make-your-own pancakes and coffee, and I enjoyed those while sitting in the sunshine watching the waves from the porch. The only tiny negatives were towels are only available for rent (just $2!) and they're not responsive to emails. Overall though, an amazing experience. Hands down my favorite hostel I've stayed in!!

This property is in such a great location. Very walkable to nearby restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and the property offers great areas for working or relaxation. I will be back again.

You won't find a better location for a beach hostel. The staff were very friendly & the hostel is pretty clean, considering it's right next to a sandy beach. The 4pm check-in time seems ridiculous ...especially when sun sets at 430-445 during fall/winter. $40/night during winter is much higher than most hostels. I'd stay here again if the beach was my MAIN PRIORITY...otherwise there's cheaper options downtown with just as much entertainment.

ITH Beach Bungalow Surf Hostel offered me perfect vacation in a great location with friendly staff and full of outdoor and indoor activities. Pacific Beach and this hostel are the perfect combination to enjoy a sunny day in Beautiful San Diego.

I have traveled around the world staying in Youth Hostels even though I am not a youth per se but I have never really grown up. Age does not define me. BB Surf Hostel was fabulous in every way that a hostel could be. The location is WONDERFUL, the beach MAGNIFICANT, and the hostel itself is CHARMING!!!!! It is CLEAN, the staff is so HELPFUL and everyone visiting is just so FUN!!!! I would recommend this hostel to anyone!!!!!

The hostel has a great enviroment and atmosphere, but the private room was very small, a little dirty, the fan was disgusting and there was mold in the bathroom. The brazilian host that greeted us was super nice and kind!
