What a shocker! Do NOT even think about it! We decided to stay in Talanguera to get a feel for the neighborhood as we are looking at properties in the area. From the moment you arrive you realize you have made a terrible mistake. The owner's use the place for their staff accommodation for Casa Oro and park their trucks and vehicles in the car park. The gardens are unkept, the pool is green, the women staff have a serious attitude, and don't even bother to greet you. The photos are NOT what the place looks like anymore. The rooms were clean, BUT the AC constantly froze on 23degrees C and the pipes then rattled all night, there literally is no hot water - the tap is missing and plastered over - Our kids' room had a tap but no hot water either. Breakfast - the 'Yoghurt' option was a bowl of watermelon and melon, and the tiniest ramekin of sour milk that they try and pass off as yoghurt that they could find. What is so disappointing is that for a similar price we could have stayed at Casa Cha Cha Cha which saw simply amazing! Skip this dump.

This is the 3r time staying at the hotel I had no more than good experiences here until this past Saturday I always recommend to my friends and family staying here giving the accessibility, location, prices and environment overall However, the atmosphere this past weekend was simply chaotic We arrived at 3 pm and the rooms were still not ready, the front desk employees were fighting witch each other looking for the keys and of course that's something that shouldn't occurred in front of our eyes, they even had to give us a different room because they losted the keys and they were implying thay maybe one of us took it (mind you we just arrived) Additionally at 8 pm they told us we could not get access to the pool because they were about to clean it which is fine, rules are rules but they even turn off all of the lights saying that the owner told them it's mandatory to be completely dark at this time Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable, customer service inexistent.

The room was higher than we paid elsewhere and very average. It was an extra $50 per night just for A/C. I assume it is because of the location. There were ants all over the walls and the shower was so weak it wouldn’t rinse the shampoo out of our hair. It is a bit of a walk along the beach to get to the main town, so I suggest having a vehicle if staying at this location. Overall the stay was ok, but definitely overpriced for the amenities.

Just a couple of small picky things. The sink faucet leaked continuously and was loose. And the shower head was mostly plugged.

Great value and good service from the staff. There are some shortcomings as mentioned in other reviews, however they are minor considering the cost. Staff cleaned the room when requested and were as helpful as possible considering the language barrier (we came from Canada). The breakfast and coffee each morning was wonderful and the pool was very refreshing.

We just stayed 10 nights in this hotel and it was great. The staff was very friendly and accomodating regardless of the language barrier. It was quiet..well kept..and i felt no issues with security at all. the pool was basically always clean given thatvthe wind is always blowing and leaves do blow in regularly. I did take the time to clean out leaves as needed but that just kept me busy..lol. I would on one hand make a couole small recommendations however. Perhaps the owners should consider installing fridges in the rooms and a coffe maker. I like to be up early in he mornings to watch the sun come up and listen to the birds so a coffe maker would be great instead of having to wait until 7:30 am. The breakfast was good and just enough to get the day started. people will always find a reason to complain about something but i would return again. The recommendations i stated are not complaints but i believe those 2 items would really be beneficial to the hotel. Regards, Dean from Canada.

Extremely disappointed in this Property to the point that we were unable to stay. Checked in, went to the room, found Two beds, no tables or chairs or rugs, no hot water, concrete floor, AC shaky at best, one towel, I could go on but instead went and checked out. Property refused to give a refund, even though it was clearly not as advertised. Very disappointed.
