エル カナリオ バイ ザ ラグーン(Canario Lagoon Hotel)

The front staff was so helpful again! I had a 6:30am flight and the night shift ordered me a cab as soon as I came down to the lobby. The location is amazing, 5 minute walk to the shore and plenty of restaurants all around.

The hotel Canario, was under renovation and it’s been taken over by hotel next to it, walking into a torn down lobby and no one there at the time was a total shocker. But at the end everything worked fine.

Great it’s was nice place close to everything Great location for vacation smaller then resorts room but nice quiet Great view Very very nice place to sleep while on vacation

It is under repair, kind of inconvenient that the office is in one building and our rooms were in another....for the price it was jice....hope they get the construction done...

So, El Canario By the Lagoon is under major construction which they don't mention in the listing. When we arrived the door was locked and the construction workers said we should go to the hotel next door, which we did. There, they checked us in and gave us a key, told us to go back over and gave us a code to open the door. Inside the hotel was a construction zone. The foyer was literally open to the driveway and the floor, elevator and hallway in the first floor where we were supposed to have a room was covered in footprints and cement dust. It looked like a construction area. The room was basic and fine however, guys were working outside right below the window. I went back to the office and said we were going to change hotels. The person at the desk got on the phone then told us we could stay at that hotel, The Abitta, room 306. That hotel was very nice and at least staffed. However in our room there was an intermittent loud noise from behind the wall in the bathroom that sounded like a loud drill or jackhammer. It went on all night and got more frequent in the AM, which lead me to believe it could be the pipes. The hotel is nice but avoid room 306. Also, do not book a stay at El Canario By The Lagoon until construction is complete. They said sometime in June, maybe. They took care of us, but keeping that listing up during construction with no mention of it is dishonest at minimum.

We arrive and we’re not informed hotel lobby was under construction. Rooms were different than advertised pictures on web page. Found roaches in bathroom. We requested to be move to another hotel, which they honored our request

They were redoing this motel! You had to check into another motel to go here! Very disappointed!

El Canaria is being remodeled and we were sent next door to Abitta.. Abitta is very nice and has very nice and helpful staff. Canaria MAY be taking guests but we stayed at Abitta because my wife has to have a handicap scooter. We never set foot in El Canario

Very nice staff. It’s an older hotel on the common areas. Rooms have been updated though.
