I filtered my search to properties with AC and internet. When we arrived we asked for the Wifi password. We were told they had been having trouble w/ WiFi for the last few days. The lady at the front desk then searched for a password for a few minutes while on the phone. she finally found a plastic card with 2 networks and a password written. She brought to our room. 1 network couldn’t be found, the other was a public one. She told us to join the public one because it was a restaurant’s. I did not feel comfortable doing that and the signal was weak. Told her I needed internet so I wanted to cancel my 2 nights stay because I would be searching for another hotel. She told me I had to wait until someone arrived the next morning to take care of that. I had plans for the next day to go to La Gruta very early so I was have to leave my room before this person arrived at 11am. I told her ok, but the next morning at 7 am i packed all my thinks and checked out. The gentleman at the front understood that I needed wifi for work and allowed us to cut our stay short since they did not in fact have wifi.
Although I left early, it seemed like this place will have you waking up early with the noise they will likely be making at their courtyard eating area or kitchen all of these rooms face. There was a common area restroom right outside our room. The restroom in our room has a half ceiling, so any smells from the restroom can get in. And the main door has a huge gap under that lets bugs in.
