Hotel Gran Mediterraneo

The hotel staff is so kind and attentive. The room and bathrooms were clean and had everything we need. The pool was also clean and without any smell. The food was healthy and delicious. Very satisfied with the experience and for sure will return again.

A very nice hotel— clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. We would have tried the enticing indoor pool but for the airline losing our luggage. A 20 minute ride to the airport. Thank you for a nice stay. Not much else to say but I need 200 characters post.

This hotel is the best place for events!, full of elegance and great customer service even with last minute requests they were able to provide solutions. We coordinated our event from Costa Rica and it was straigthforward and the day of the event everything was perfect, the decoration was beautiful they care about every detail. The service is personalized. The food was also really good. Highly recommended for all kind of events.

We loved the hotel Gran Mediterraneo. It is a family business run by people who really care about your experience as a guest. It is a traditional Honduran hotel with lots of character, decorated with marble, stone, warm wood, wrought iron and paintings by Honduran artists. In all, a very warm, welcoming feel. The front desk and the staff are endlessly helpful, making sure that we were well taken care of, supplying location advice, arranging taxis for us and telling us what everything would cost which was invaluable for foreigners visiting Honduras. Great breakfast and a large comfortable room. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were recently in San Pedro Sula to visit his family and stayed at Hotel Gran Mediterraneo. We had heard great things but hadn't had the opportunity to stay there. What an amazing stay!! The staff is incredibly caring and made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. They all greet you with a smile and have a very positive attitude. We had breakfast there and the food was to die for, especially the huevos rancheros. The rooms are incredibly spacious and so comfortable, we ended up sleeping in a lot more than we had in a long time. 100% recommended! We will definitely be back any time we visit San Pedro.

Love this Hotel!! One of my childhood friends was visiting after being 10 years overseas. I planned a girls weekend. After explaining the plan, they helped me create a memorable weekend from the moment we arrived. This hotel was the only hotel that would allow the 6 of us to stay in the same room by a reasonable extra fee. I had custom gifts made for the girls and had it all deliver to the hotel. The staff placed everything as I requested and we felt like we were regular guest at this hotel. We will never forget our weekend, they truly helped us make wonderful memories with lifetime friends!!

Very quiet at night even though you are in the center of SPS. The area is safe during the day time but, like anywhere really, walking around at night is a different story. The hotel itself is lovely and has a real old school feel (everything is real wood!) even though it was built in 2009.

Couldn't ask for a better place. Good breakfast. Superb service, friendly staff. This hotel is up to date, clean, wifi, etc. You can't go wrong on this one. The owner Jocelyn goes the distance to make sure your needs are met.

I planned a family event at this hotel. We arrived 40 mins early and the hotel staff had everything ready. Initially we were supposed to bring a projector but the person responsible dropped the ball. The hotel staff was SO helpful at accommodating our last minute requests. They gave us a sense of peace at all times. Service was exceptional and the food delicious. I highly recommend having your event here. Even if you have last minute challenges their staff will do their best to help your event be a success.
