SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel

This hotel will be our new regular hotel! Not only is the facility beautiful and always well-maintained, but the staff in particular make this hotel a very special place. Therefore our very big THANK YOU to all employees! See you next time. We cant wait!

If you want to spend too much money on an « upgrade » Novotel , this is the place. Just to name of few issues we during our stay of five nights: - shower overflowing (poor maintenance of sewage) - very poor advice from concierge - super slow response from the staff on requests made prior to our arrival - food in the Ixo bistro and at SoCiety are the quality of a standard motorway diner… - a lot of renovation ongoing (pool area) without pre-warning - No soap in the shower - indoor pools smells worst than public swimming pools However, the surroundings and the resort itself is beautiful and the staff has the potential to be trained. If they want to go for 5-star level, they can…but it cannot be just an upgrade version of a Novotel

Excellent service for the full 4 days. Couldn't fault it. Clean, staff very helpful, great golf course on site. Food in bars very good. I would 100% recommendb

Beautiful hotel from outside, room not as good, looks like 3-4 star. There is an open shower in the bathroom and water is splashing everywhere and it is impossible for another person to use a bathroom at the same time. Bathroom amenities were never refilled, no shower cap. Good bed. Not enough hangers in closet. No self service breakfast, which is very annoying. You have to wait for everything and when the restaurant is full it takes ages to finish the breakfast. Food is good. Hotel has an excellent location for golfers. Staff very friendly.

An amazing experience provided by a beautiful hotel and, above all amazing staff. The food in the various restaurants is fabulous. The rooms are so luxurious you don’t want to leave them but the pull of the amazing pool area is enough to make sure you do! See you next August and September guys! Jay & Carrie x

Restaurant’s ambience is warm and welcoming. The table was served by Arantxa Vicente Jose. She was helpful and friendly and assisted me with choosing the vegan dishes from the menu. The food was great and so was the local red wine. I socially loved the cauliflower steak. Thank you

We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner due to the excellent kitchen and the heartfelt service of Zuzana, Arantxa, Jose, Vicente at Cortijo restaurant. Nacho & Aby we will miss you at the bar with your perfect Cocktails and your great sense of humor. Many thanks

This was my fifth stay at the SO resort over the last 3 years and once again it was an amazing experience with exceptional service. Once on the plane home I discovered I had left my wallet with all my credit cards in the taxi. When I called the hotel Luiz at the front desk was amazing he told me not to worry and called the taxi driver and told him to return the wallet to the hotel, and has arranged for it to be sent on to me at my home address. Nothing was too much trouble. First class service once again from SO Sotogrande....Thank you Luiz...I look forward to thanking you in person when I return next year.

Cannot fault SO/Sotogrande, excellent rooms, perfectly catering for every need. But, the service is second to none, particularly in the Cortijo bar and restaurant, Vicente, Arantxa and Jose in Cortijo Santa Maria 1962 have to receive special mention, they are brilliant. Such a fabulous couple of days, wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely return, thank you!
