サンズ バイ ザ シー(Sands by the Sea Motel)

This was a great one night stay great stop for road trips with an amazing sunset view. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this as a short stay over. The location was great as we got to see the sea lions not too far from the motel as well as visit hurst castle.

房間一般，設施比較舊了，衞生可以。但是地理位置非常好，旅館後面就是沙灘，看海特別方便。

Hard to find at night sign was dark, no light. Arrived but check in closed at normal hours, sign directed me to go to hotel next door. Ok but u could have sent me an email. Breakfast was a bunch of prepackaged donuts or you could go to restaurant and get $5 off Stay was good except for these inconveniences!

The room and bathroom were nothing great small but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities made up for the small room. I love the beach access and fire pits. We had a nice breakfast at the restaurant next door. The $5 per person voucher was a nice savings. We already booked a room for next month. This will be our go-to motel when we are in the area.

There was no front desk when we checked in, we had to go to the next property to check in (maybe they are owned by the same owner?). Our aircon was noisy when we turned it on and the one office chair in the room had its upholstery torn/damaged... We are only there for one night so we just ignore it but for the price of the room, I just wish the facilities are better managed. The area is beautiful and the view was amazing too. You also have access to the beach that is shared with the motel next door that is more fancy (and probably expensive).

It was my first time staying at this place. Being a single woman traveler you need to be careful where you are. If you arrive late, you have to check in at resort next door. There is a $50 deposit not in fine print. Older looking place outside. Opening door I was pleasantly surprised. It is older but not dirty looking. The bed was comfy. Can't really hear ocean with another hotel behind. As stated, breakfast is a piece of fruit and muffin. Check out person was rude. Overall, liked for the price and felt comfortable and safe. Definitely will stay again.

The location is amazing…you can hear the ocean from the pool and jacuzzi! Nice walking path along the ocean; rooms are perfect!

This place needs a refresh. Outside looks ok but in my room things were worn and not clean.
