We stayed for a week! Absolutely loved it. The pools, the great breakfasts, our bure, the beautiful beach, the surfing, the new Japanese restaurant and mostly the wonderful staff. We snorkled, kayaked, enjoyed weaving and walks with the activities crew. Loved our afternoon volleyball. The fire dancing and culture show was great too. Yatule isn't big and bustling, it's relaxing with plenty of options for adventure. And did I mention the staff?? Vinaka.

The renovations have been completed and they really did this place right! Every burre has new floors, new furniture, and bathrooms, the lobby, bar and restaurant areas look fantastic and so do the hard-wood floors! The new infinity pool at the front is stunning, nestled behind the trees and with a view to the gorgeous ocean! But the best part was the people; Lati, Aminiasi, Ula, Luke and the lovely ukulele singing reception guy were absolutely fantastic! I've stayed at the InterContinental before and it's super nice but the Yatule feels authentic, laid back and just the nicest place to just rest, drink, snorkel and take in this beautiful paradise.

We booked direct with Yatule in January 2024 for 10 days in August - 21/08 to 31/08. We knew there were renovations but they were due to be completed well before our arrival so we weren't concerned. There were 14 of us booked for my husband's 40th. A week prior to our arrival I organised a bank transfer of full room charge (6903 FJD = 4855 AUD approx). All bookings confirmed that week also. 4 days out from our arrival, I and a few others in our group, received an email on Saturday saying our booking had been cancelled due to renovations being 'incomplete' - those listed in the email were significant and they would have known that our bookings would be cancelled prior to our payment but they took our money anyway. Some of our group received a cancellation 3 days out and a few didn't receive one at all. We were offered sub par replacement options (not all of us were offered the same either, effectively splitting our group) with minimal details, and on investigation we concluded that they were not of the same value nor quality (based on reviews, messages received by and comments left by other would be guests who were treated the same) We scrambled to find a place that would have us all and allow us to enjoy the celebrations as planned, luckily the Pearl Resort at Pearl Harbour could accommodate and we have since had a wonderful time. Regarding Yatule, ongoing communication has been poor and although we were promised a full refund, 2 weeks later we are still yet to see a single dollar returned. This has put significant stress on us as we've effectively had to pay for 2x holidays. Everything we've experienced with Yatule feels like a 'bait and switch' scam which is problematic to say the least, especially as you were still able to book with them directly and through 3rd party sites. We do not recommend Yatule, whilst it now looks pretty post facelift, it will leave a bad taste in your mouth regardless. If we could give it 0 stars we would.

This is our fourth time to Fiji, and our first time staying at the Yatule Resort & Spa, we stayed for four nights in a pool view bure. The location is gorgeous, right on the beachfront. The resort itself is reasonably basic but it has everything you need. Our bure was a bit tired but really clean, and spacious. It has a nice balcony where you can sit and relax. Unfortunately the walls are thin and you can definitely hear voices/movement from the adjoining bure. We found the staff relaxed, friendly and genuine, some were more helpful than others. The location is reasonably isolated with the nearest shop/mini supermarket about 8km away. With that it means you don’t really have any other options for eating other than at the resort, which we did. The meals were fine. We tried getting into the neighbouring InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa for a drink and meal, but they were full and wouldn’t allow anyone apart from guests, apparently this is the norm when they are fully booked. We had a great massage at the pink tent which is along from the resort, thoroughly recommend. We also enjoyed walking along the beach and tram track to the local village where they were happy for us to wander through. If you have any spare stationery, stickers or the like it is much appreciated by the villagers. If you are wanting an authentic stay on the beachfront, Yatule is a great option. We felt four nights was enough for us.

I love yatule. Beautiful beach, beautiful people, excellent food. Can’t wait to go back. Snorkel every day with Luke and don’t miss the coconut tastings! You won’t find a more idyllic location at a bargain price.

We stayed at Yatule resort for my 60th birthday as a family group. We had booked in January and I was a bit worried with some of the reviews that had been given. I needn't have worried. It was so lovely to be back in fiji and although a long drive down to natadola Beach it is well worth the drive. Yatule like many of the smaller resorts has suffered from 2 years of Covid but with people traveling back to fiji the resort is now getting back on its feet. A lovely resort right on the beach with a real family feel. The staff are awesome chatting to my 86 year old mum daily and making her feel like family. The pool area is now all lovely again with new decking and umbrellas. If you want a smaller more personnel resort this is a great place. The restaurant has a choice of an Asian menu( great Mongolian beef) or a la carte. Lovely breakfast too. So go down to Yatule you won't be disappointed. BTW go snorkelling and have a game of Uno in the bar with Luke the champion Uno player. We will miss the beautiful smiles of the Fijian staff Vanaka until we return .
