This stylish guest house has been brilliantly remodeled for a unique experience right in the heart on ancient Sancerre. Very highly recommended.

A beautiful property in all aspects. Room was large and well appointed. Our host, Ophilie, was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. An amazing location right on the main square of Sancerre. We loved our stay!

La Place is an immaculately clean B&B that is tastefully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating from extra pillows to recommendations for dinner and wineries. The breakfast was perfect with an assortment of fresh and delicious items. The location couldn’t be better; right on the Sancerre Square.

We stayed here as a stopover having travelled from Beziers in the south. We were pleasantly met by Ophelie who speaks great English. The house is comfortable and tastefully dressed. Our bedroom was equally smart and we had everything we needed including a good night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality too. A big well done and congratulations to Ophelie and her husband for a successful year of running their B&B and bringing about a lovely place for guests to stay in charming Sancerre. Ophelie has renovated her grandmother’s old townhouse into a beautiful, stylish, and calm B&B. Very comfortable and spacious; right on town square. Delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and pains. Upon arrival we were served a juicy glass of white Sancerre in the cosy courtyard whilst receiving great tips for wineries, villages, and restaurants. Ophelie did everything she could to help us during our stay. Highly recommended and hope to be back.
