Breakfast is sucks but room interior and location is convenient.

I stated this hotel many times over the last 20 years, both in its current ownership and previous. The property is always been well maintained, with friendly staff, and is extremely well located for the business I do when in Southern California I’ll be going to breakfast in the morning, and I always enjoy their breakfast because it’s handmade and fresh And plentiful.

No parking at all. We were directed to park in the fire lane. The 3 nights we were there, rooms weren’t cleaned once. Had to constantly get towels. Toilet was clogged when we walked in room and we had to go down and get plunger ourselves and fix toilet ourselves. Then bring plunger back down. Very few items left in hotel shop. Breakfast was awful. Was someone blaring loud music below are room at 2 am for an hour.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed. The property itself was nice and clean, and the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. However, I encountered significant issues with the parking situation that soured my stay. Upon returning to the hotel at 2:20 AM, I was dismayed to find no available parking. Cars were haphazardly parked in the red zone, posing a safety hazard and preventing safe exit from the property. Despite addressing the matter with the manager, Mr. Lundy, his response was dismissive and condescending. He indicated that the hotel policy allows a 24-hour grace period before addressing parking issues, leaving me frustrated and stranded. Seeking a solution, I contacted a nearby hotel for parking assistance. The process of driving there, obtaining a parking permit, and returning to the hotel in the cold, rainy early morning hours was inconvenient and disheartening. Upon my return, Mr. Lundy's disrespectful demeanor compounded the situation. His dismissive attitude towards safety concerns, coupled with security guards following us under false pretenses, created an unwelcome and uncomfortable environment. The lack of compassion and professionalism from the management, as well as the sense of threat and insecurity due to the parking and security issues, left a sour taste in my mouth. The response regarding the "24-hour notice" policy suggests an ongoing problem with parking management and raises concerns about the hotel's commitment to guest safety.

Our key did not work!!! There was a night when we got there at midnight with our children and it took us about 20 tries before the key worked. It was noisy and when asked for towels and blankets it took hours to get it.

The rooms are clean and cozy! Check in was great, what wasn’t pleasant is after an evening out, came back to no parking and was told to park at another hotel and this was a total inconvenience. The walls are so thin and we had a horrible sleep due to our neighbors arguing. Security took care of it promptly. Overall it was a pleasant stay despite the unfortunates.

Excellent stay with comfortable room and plenty of space for two people. The area is not like depicted by some regarding shady homeless. They keep to themselves and don't panhandle which we only saw a couple so we felt safe enough to get to the hotel late. The only complain is that the front desk didn't have quarters to do the laundry. The coin machine was also broken. We stayed for a week and needed to do laundry before heading home. The breakfast was fine better than continental. The room was clean!

Spiders and bugs in bed and noisy homeless in the property in the middle of the night felt unsafe !
