"Stay away from this hotel! They’ll rip you off! We stayed three nights where they quoted us a set price, on the third night they raised the price saying that their credit card scanner wasn’t working. They harassed us for cash and we had no choice but to pay the higher price if we wanted to check out. Beware of the guy at the hotel. He states that he’s the manager but he’s only there to rip you off! When we finally paid again for the room the same guy would not allow us to load our luggage into our cab until they verified that we paid what they were demanding. There’s no accountability because the young girls at the front desk are clueless and the owner is non existent! We disputed the charges with our bank but the hotel changes their account name with some mysterious site seeing company so are out 200 dollars!!"

"A small hotel in Mexican style, very clean - the concept would be very good if not some details: 1 - a lot of mosquitos in the rooms, insecticide has to be on all time, because mosquitos are entering constantly from the bathroom window. Closing it is impossible, as there is only a mosquito net there which doesn't protect from smaller insects. 2 - From 5 days of staying there, 2 days we didn't have hot water, at all. For some time, the hotel ran out of water at all, both cold and hot. Solutions? Our x-room is still without hot water I guess because in the evening, we informed the reception that there was no hot water, and in the afternoon the next day when we were leaving, the issue was successfully "forgotten". 3 - They are constructing right now, so from 8 a.m. above your head, literally, there is drilling, hitting, scrubbing - all the construction noises. 4 - The TV didn't work, so they had to call technicians to fix it. So, additional trouble because no option was offered to move to another room, no, it was just like - ah, tomorrow technicians will come. 5 - We asked when reserving the room if we could leave later than at 12 p.m., and they told no problem to leave at 14.00 p.m.. But on the last day, they changed their mind asking us to free the room earlier. From the good things: the receptionists are very friendly even though not helpful indeed, they simply cannot fix things that require professional intervention. 2 - The restaurant: cheap and very tasty. Recommended for breakfasts. 3 - Rooms are cleaned very properly."
