I had a wonderful stay at this lovingly restored Villa. It’s an easy walk to the seaside Promenade, shopping, restaurants, and the train station, where you can catch a bus for a quick ride to Portofino. A wonderful breakfast is served on the patio offering spectacular views over the town and the seaside. The hosts are gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend the stay at this property.

Absolutely out of this world! A wonderful magical villa on a hillside looking over to the gulf of Portofino.Surrounded by well tended beautiful gardens, that are there if you should fancy an afternoon or evening relaxing in all their beauty. We were fortunate enough to stay in this stunning place for two nights, and received the very best of service from the staff, nothing too much trouble, and so friendly and informative. The villa itself is magnificent and sumptuous, formerly a home to a noble Italian family, and has the furnishings and decor that whisk you back to those very grand times. We stayed on a B&B basis, and each morning we ate breakfast on the patio overlooking views - that are out of this world, surely closest you could ever get to heaven! We would really love to stay again, but if this doesn't happen, we are so grateful for this out of the world experience, and would highly recommend to anyone reading this - to book up, very special. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Gelsomino right from the welcome! We felt at home and very cared for. The team are lovely and make our stay very relaxing. The bed was amazing, the best sleep we have had for a very long time. The room was spacious and well appointed and the breakfast a great start to each day, they even packed us a breakfast picnic when we travelled to Cinque Terre for the day on the train. And they happily made recommendations for places to eat and other helpful suggestions - highly recommended, thank you again!

Despite the AC not working well and the train noise, our stay was good till we found my wife's expensive dress stolen by the staff. They said their insurance will pursue and we produced all the documents and pictures they asked for, kept asking us to wait for the insurance response and no actions or response from the hotel of insurance. Stay someplace else.

We had the most wonderful time at Villa Gelsomino. The city of Santa Margherita is lovely but the villa was truly the highlight of our trip. We stayed at the "Cinque Terre" room which had ocean view and it made so much difference to our experience, as the view was magical. Breakfast was also really good and full of local food, very special. There is a private parking lot, which came in very handy. The hotel and rooms are so beautiful and the staff was always helpful, polite and kind. Certainly when we come back to Portofino we will return! We had an amazing stay at the Villa Gelsomino Exclusive House! During our recent stay we got to experience very nice and welcoming staff, a room with a beautiful view, a wonderful breakfast with an array of options, and a night in the hot tub!! We stayed in the Cinque Terre and got to wake up every morning to a breath taking view! We absolutely loved this Villa, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. It’s super close to the train station and they made it easy to access even after hours. Everything was great!

Amazing villa in a quiet location with a beautiful garden. Rooms have historic floors and beautiful plafonds There is a parking on site which is not common in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting this place

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The Villa is beautiful and truly unique. The frescos on the ceilings are spectacular and the rooms are well appointed, spacious and bright. The staff (shout out to Georgia) was welcoming and informative. The breakfast had more delicious choices than we could have imagined. Two nights weren’t enough.

It was wonderful stay in villa gelsomino. We ve got welcome letter with flowers in our room. Wonderful view from balcony was lovely. And of course jacuzzi in the garden, it was pretty nice. Thanks a lot for all personal, we will obligatory come back! Evgenii Zabavskii
