It was a very pleasant stay very close to the center with all major attractions at walkable distance.

We were happy with our stay at Hotel Citrea and it was convenient for the town and rail/bus stations. The room was well styled and designed and the shower was excellent. Our twin bedded room had 2’6” beds so these felt a bit small but the bedding was good. We had a kettle, cups & tea tray in the room. 2 chairs and table made it comfortable. Sound proofing wasn’t the best but still good value, The staff gave very good customer service.

El hotel es moderno, bonito y está bien situado. Aunque se encuentra en una subida, hay escaleras mecánicas en la calle que facilitan el acceso. El personal es muy amable. Lo único que mejoraría es que las paredes son un poco finas y depende de los vecinos de habitación que te toquen, se escucha bastante. Aun así, contentos con la estancia.

Very friendly welcome. We arrived early (hot and tired) and were able to check in which was really appreciated. Staff spoke good English which compensated for my poor Spanish. Great location near bars, cafes and main shopping street with supermarkets. The hotel is small and stylish so it seemed quiet, even though we were told it was busy. We had two twin/doubles and they were slightly different in layout and decor. Both had aircon, fridges and rainfall showers and were very clean. My daughter and I had a big wet room style shower and bathroom with wooden door. My husband and son had a bigger room but the bathroom had an opaque glass door and shower cubicle. They were pleased with the big TV to watch the World Cup on in the middle of the night and we were pleased we didn't have to! Windows opened if fresh air is required but blackout curtains meant a good night's sleep. Water was provided in the room and in reception. My son uses a wheelchair and was able to access the room and all areas of the hotel via the lift. We didn't choose a disabled room but I believe there are some. The hotel itself is up a slight hill but there is a moving walkway to assist, which was a great feature. We had no issues really. In our room the layout seemed a bit 'quirky' with the clothes rail over the fridge and kettle (which was not near a plug) and the fridge wasn't very cold but, overall, no complaints. The 'city view' was the side of another building but you don't have to walk far to get great views of Santander and we didn't choose the hotel for that.

The room given was a weird set up. It had a bath tub next to the bed. The sink was o the other side of the bed. It had a bucked door to access the comode and the shower, but the shower had a 5 feet tall glass looking into the the room. So from the bed you can watch whoever was showering. Probably this was a honeymoon room. There are no closets or dresser to store clothing. Just a rack in top a small counter. The breakfast was all american (all cold cuts) not even scramble eggs. We ate at a cafeteria nearby. The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini-fridge. Overall it was ok, but not "wonderfull" as stated in the reviews.

The facilities are excellent, well located and good price. The staff very helpful and very communicative.

The room was perfectly clean and the furnishings were nicely appointed and in very good condition. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was nice, a good selection. The breakfast area is cozy, a tad small. The location is great; in town so plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We upgraded to a room with a spa bath because we were walking the Camino and knew we would enjoy a soak. The bath was very nice, but there was no soap near it (it’s affixed to the shower wall). Also, the room lacked much furniture- two tiny bed stands with only one surface; no dresser or luggage racks for our bags made unpacking complicated. Overall a good hotel and a nice stay.

Lovely hotel, great location, staff couldn’t do enough. Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Citrea and would highly recommend!

Reserved a small double room at suggestion of someone. Very good experience. Next to noisy street, but quiets down as night goes on. Only a couple of blocks from a main drag in town, very close to a lot of fun things.
